Enjoy outdoor life at this hidden jewel. Outdoor shower and hot tub make this place special. Enjoy those Texas sky's filled with stars as you soak in the hot tub. Robes and slippers are provided for the hot tub and shower. End your night sitting by the fire. Super close to the lake and river! Conveniently located minutes from New Braunfels, Wimberly, San Marcos, San Antonio and Austin. Tour our wineries and distilleries to make your trip complete. Don't forget to look at our concierge services. If you need a private driver to a concert, etc....let us know ahead of time so we can arrange. There is an extra fee for this. Big selling point for this listing is the hot tub, sadly it never worked during my stay. Gave it over two hours to heat up per host's instructions emailed to me. Messaged host about the issue, but she did not respond until the next day and gave no further tips, only repeated the instructions I was originally given. Had it on heat for hours, and it never got up to temperature. Didn't even bother with it on day 2. I expected to be given some type of resolution for this since the listing makes it their main selling point. Instead I got one excuse after another, with straight up lies. All the sudden it takes "several" hours to heat up, which it still never did, but what ever. Its truly sad a business like this one will not make sure the main feature of their property is not working properly. Then fail to make it right. I had photos showing it was not working, they did nothing about it yet, they fail to show proof it was working properly. In addition to the hot tub issues, corkscrew was broken (so much for wine night), bedroom remote had dead batteries, and the mattress is extremely uncomfortable. Minor issues I can live with, what I can't live with is catching the property manager in lies, contradicting her own heating instructions so she can save a buck. Do yourself a favor, read her rebuttals on any review she doesn't get 10/10 on - defensive and ugly, and that will tell you all you need to know about this property company.

This cabin has no indoor shower or bath and the driveway is not suitable for small cars and sedans. It is not properly built and is dangerously steep.i wouldNot ever stay here again. It also had roaches.

It was very cute and cozy. Enjoyed our time there. Only slight downfall was the mattress which was way to firm but that obviously is a personal preference. Overall we loved our time there.

Pet friendly, only shower is outside and was nice, comfy cozy "full size" bed. Cool AC and fan for comfort. But super cute cabin. Decor was super cute. Perfect walk to a nice place for coffee to Kafekali & Bakery.

Alone time with Wife

Very peaceful cabin getaway. Cant see the neighbors unless you resly try to. Pizza was great that was supplied by owners. Bed was very comfortable. TVs and WIFI worked great. Hot tub was dantastic. The outdoor shower is large and is great after a long day of waliking around. I look forward to doing this again. Great value.

1 year anniversary romantic get away

This cabin on the creek was exceptional. It was peaceful. It was perfect. The hot tub, the outside shower & the cozy cabin itself. Area was quiet & serene with lots of fun just down the road. To top it off we got to checkout way later because no one had it booked the next day and at no charge. All the stars for all the things!

Fun time away from home

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. My only real complaints, and its no ones falt but my own for not paying attention, are the size of the bed, wich if i had paid attention to the listing i would have seen it was a full bed not a queen We sill sleep comfortably. And the ceader trees again my fault for not paying attention. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Cute and clean place. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Water heater for shower didnt work but didnt matter because of how hot it was outside. Would stay again.

This place is quirky and awesome. The outdoor only/propane heated shower was unexpected, but really cool. The property is easy to get to, but quiet and privare, I'll happily stay here again. The hosts were friendly and easy to reach

Cozy get away, but might get more than you bargained for!

The cabin is cozy (small) and “rustic”. The cabin is near great spots in Canyon Lake and close to New Braunfels. It also is close (next door to) to a trailer with a lovely assortment of trash in the front yard. I understand you cannot control your neighbors, but I would not call the neighborhood “desirable”, despite the proximity to Canyon Lake hot spots. The check in and check out process were simple considering the cabin’s small foot print, there is little to pick up. The accuracy of the listing is fair, even though the images listed as “property grounds” would technically be local interest spots, as they are not on the property. Also, I would not call the Duraflame portable heater as a fireplace, but they have interpreted it as such. Note, the outdoor shower is the ONLY shower. Rustic and fun, but can be chilly in the winter time! Now, for the reason I would consider my overall stay, cleanliness and communication with the property manager a one star (would put zero if that was an option). When checking in on 1/10 I did not have any insect bites on my body. After returning home on 1/12 I noticed a two bites on my back. Considering I enjoyed two evenings by the fire pit, I disregarded the bites, thinking they were due to ants or mosquitos. On the morning of 1/15, and after an urgent care visit, a doctor advised me I was covered in 30 bed bug bites. I only saw a dead roach in the corner behind the floor lamp of the bedroom, so I cannot say for 100% fact the bed bug bites c
