Maison dans les arbres du lac Canyon

Joli bungalow d'une chambre simple avec un lit king-size confortable dans la chambre principale et deux lits jumeaux séparés dans la salle familiale, perché sur une colline surplombant le magnifique lac du canyon, cette maison des années 1970 dispose d'une terrasse extérieure spacieuse sur laquelle vous pouvez faire un barbecue. Vous pouvez regarder le soleil se coucher dans notre balançoire ou éventuellement nourrir des cerfs qui passent fréquemment. La vue tÎt le matin avec une tasse de café est donc trÚs paisible. La maison est directement en face d'une grande rampe de mise à l'eau et à seulement quelques minutes d'inter tubing sur la riviÚre Guadalupe. Il est facile d'entrer dans l'eau pour se rafraßchir, nager ou faire du bateau. Ce refuge bungalow unique en son genre est parfait pour votre escapade familiale paisible de la ville lorsque vous voulez juste enlever vos chaussures et vous détendre.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Treehouse. The view of the lake from the deck and from inside looking through the wall of windows is amazing! We saw a deer climb up the hill while sitting and having our morning coffee. We looked forward to watching the sunrise/sunset over the lake. The house is exactly as advertised and very comfortable. There are plenty of outdoor activities and restaurants nearby. The host, Brian, is quick to respond to all communication and the check-in process was flawless. I highly recommend The Treehouse for a relaxing stay.

There were so many things I liked about the Treehouse! The view #1 also the comfy bed, functional grill, efficient a/c, abundance of hot water, and even without a working oven, we had what we needed in the kitchen. I really appreciated the large rope along the steps leading to the house & the light switch at the top & bottom was a great safety addition. Brian was quick to respond to my questions and the description was accurate except for the idea that we couple park a fishing boat on that very narrow road—not a good recommendation. The decor was very nostalgic for us having been born in the 50’s & I enjoyed the candles in the fireplace. We were very comfortable & very much enjoyed our stay. Hope to come back again.

Room vith a view

Quiet and quaint lakeside house hidden in the trees. The host made check in easy and gave local recommendations for activities and dining. The house was well stocked with necessities and made for a great experience. Our host was very responsive to all requests and questions and we really enjoyed our stay.

Vintage Sixties Treehouse with a View

My spouse and I spent three night in April at the Canyon Lake Treehouse. The entire place is dressed out in vintage sixties decor, which adds uniqueness and charm. The one bedroom home felt roomy and was nicely laid out and could work for a couple with small children, as well. The most unforgettable feature, though, was the view. With floor-to-ceiling window's, it could be enjoyed throughout the house. The deck was amazing, and each evening the lightning bugs would put on a show as we enjoyed the lake vista. The location is near to shopping and restaurants. We took easy day trips to the town of Wimberly, to the LBJ state and national parks near Johnson City and to the Gruene. There were amazing wildflowers along the way to each nearby place. The Treehouse is highly recommended for a couple's getaway or for a small family.

We loved staying in your retro Treehouse. The view was fantastic, the house was well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. The location was great for easy access to Austin and San Antonio, and was perfect for exploring the beautiful Texas Hill Country. We’ve stayed in many VRBO houses. The Treehouse just might be our favorite!

Great little getaway!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful wknd at the Treehouse while our son and his high school tennis team played at john Necombe's. The house was delightful-- loved the big open windows and view. Plentiful linens and well-stocked house. Hiked around the area-- spillway, Guadalupe State Park, John Curry Nature trail-- and enjoyed two wineries-- Kai Simone and La Cruz de Comal. Hope to come back again next year!

I became aware of Canyon Lake many years when I was a youth, and I was invited to water ski there. I fell in love with mainly the east side of the lake where the water seemed to be the smoothest and the sunsets were the best. It took me many years to locate this special property to purchase, and now I have the chance to share many of my own experiences which are fond memories of mine, hoping others will make similar ones for themselves who come here to vacation.

The San Antonio & Austin corridor between the two highways of I35 and 281 has grown quite significantly in the past two decades. Very few people are aware of Canyon Lake existence because it cannot be seen much from the streets. It is a beautiful lake, and it takes either going up to the shoreline or going high above it in the hillsides to actually see the beauty and wonders found there. Most Texas lakes are famous for their fishing. Canyon Lake is mostly famous for its hidden views and landscapes.
