Rustic cabin on the Guadalupe River in Canyon Lake, Texas. Large deck overlooking the River shaded by large Cypress and Pecan trees. Great fishing just above a low water dam. Large landing on the river for access or just laying out and enjoying the sounds of rushing water over the dam. Close to many attractions in the local area such as music venues at Gruene Hall, White Water Amphitheater, Devils Backbone Tavern, Dam Red Barn, River Road Ice House, Riley's on the Backbone. Enjoy many wineries and distilleries throughout the Hill Country. See our Dinosaur Museum and hiking Trail around the River. There are also Local parks , boating and Jet Ski on Canyon Lake, rafting, kayaking, tubing or fishing in the Guadalupe or just relaxing and enjoying the serenity of the river and trees. Lot's to do.

Didn't Want to Leave

This place is a true get away! The house is just as expected, right on the river and the deck is AMAZING! Looking at other houses close by, it truly has the BEST deck to drink your coffee in the morning on to playing games in the evening. We will be back!

A great place for a weekend getaway

Great location!

House is close to Whitewater Amphitheater and just in a great location in general! Right on the water with beautiful views and easy access stairs to the water! Highly recommend!

4th of July weekend !

Great location. Everything was close by . Our favorite was going down to the concrete pad at the bottom and sitting in the water . The location seriously was perfect for all types of families .

Amazing stay!

The house was so clean and cute and had so many amenities, kitchen was full of dishes, plenty of towels for the bathrooms. Also had access to intertubes, a kayak, cornhole all stored under the deck. Amazing view from the deck and perfect access to the river. Truly whimsical stay. Can’t wait to come back

Peaceful and Relaxing

This place was amazing. the view was absolutely beautiful. i thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning listening to the bird and the water flowing. The house was exactly as pictured. if we ever go back, we will definitely be staying here again.

First time to visit Hill Country

The cabin was great, well equipped with everything you need. The views of the river were awesome...loved sitting outside listening to the water. The property managers were available and quickly responded to questions. We will be back again.

Very well equipped house

House is in a beautiful setting on the river. Magnificent decks overlooking the yard and river; kayak was a plus. Small, rustic house but comfortable and very well equipped. Very comfortable beds and bedding (we're picky). Super clean and well maintained. Had no problems whatsoever but hosts were very communicative and at the ready in the event of questions.

Location, location, location!!

Want to beat the heat, ride the river or just sit and hear the rapids? This house was perfect under huge pecan trees, well shaded, near everything and sit on that huge deck to see the river flow and hear the rapids just a short distance away. (Bring your hammock) Walking distance to tubing company too if you even wanted to leave. Truly beat the 100 heat with the breezes and view! I’d go back tomorrow!! Catering available too. Super easy vacation!
