Welcome to Mimi's Beach Cottage

Two bedroom two bath home located right on the beach. This home features new carpet, tile, furniture and much more. Home has dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor shower, deck overlooking the gulf and an outdoor grill. NO SMOKING, NO PETS.

BED SIZES: 1K, 1Q, T/T BUNK BED

Our rates are some of the most competitive on the island, for which we provide nice beach homes for an affordable price. All of our beach homes have televisions with cable and DVD/VCR's. Great place!

We have stayed at Mimi‘s house several times over the years. We always look forward to going back and staying there. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a getaway.

The location of this property was great. It had a lot of living space and a covered porch. The house needs upgrading, especially the kitchen which is quite old. Most of the house is missing baseboards which may have contributed to the roach problem. Despite the excellent location, I do not plan to rebook this house.

We fell in love with it as soon as we drove up and parked under the covered circular driveway. The view are spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked in a few times. The only negatives were the dilapidated rails on the walkway to the beach. The little walkway needs so care - could be a hurtful experience for Littles. Also, the exterminator must have been there at sometime before as my husband had a daily sweep up of dead or dying cockroaches (palmetto bugs) but dead or dying is better than fast and where did it go?Looking forward to revisiting Mimi's Beach House again!

Cute place. Great location

Overall it met our needs very well. It is a cute place and we all hope that someone will put some work into maintenance very soon. Outside front steps and rail was difficult to navigate for person with mobility issues. Back deck and walk way really needed some maintenance, shower and foot rinse hose was difficult to use due to leakage and the broken chairs distracted from overall feel. It is adorable and really needs someone to give it some love.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we love Mimi's and it's location and have stayed many times. It does however need some minor updating. The internal and external doors need replacing. A nicer set of kitchen non-stick skillets would be nice. It would also be nice if some of the windows in the kitchen, living room, and main bedroom had screens. The weather in the spring and fall is very nice and the house could use some fresh air. The new back porch furniture is very nice and comfortable. Some of the boards to the water need to be replaced. The house is not much to look at from the street, but wouldn't take much to make it more inviting. We love the fact that it is a ground level home due to health issues.
