Nice spot

The place I booked needed extra cleaning due to the previous renters, si the property folks hooked me up with a different place. Close to public transportation. Will be staying again next year for Kilby 26! Woo!

Great location to get to the salt palace easily. It is right next to a pretty park too. Area felt safe with other commuters and tourists walking in the area. The apartment complex was a little older but the actual apartment space seemed modern and remodeled. The kitchen was perfect for one person and a week stay. Comfortable couch and bed. The AC never got real cold but stayed comfortable. Upon arrival the toilet seat was broken and they responded promptly to fix. The property manager had great communication and was very helpful. Overall a good value for a good stay.

Ended up not staying

Went through the back of the building. Door to complex was held open with a cinder block. Group of people smoking in the back of the complex. Pool was closed with green water. A dog inside an apartment was continually barking. The unit was about 30 steps from the open door. I did not feel safe and contacted the host about my concerns. The host informed me to contact VRBO for a cancellation. Which is not accurate. The host needs to provide a refund and that has not happened. I briefly went into the apartment and it looked clean. There was no parking permit visible. The door to the apartment was not a sturdy door and with the unlocked front and back of the apartment building , I did not feel safe.
