This is a beautiful cabin with stunning views!! The cabin eas equipped with everything we needed and we had a nice time exploring the area. The host were very helpful with any questions asked. We would definitely stay there again.

We had the best time at this beautiful home. The views were amazing, house was clean, very secluded. Exactly what my family needed! We will be back, hopefully to see the fall colors, and we cannot wait!

WOW! That view!

Our family only stayed for 2 nights, but wish we had planned for a day to just stay and enjoy the view in the natural serenity. Gorgeous home with a fantastic view. We would absolutely go back to this house, what a gem!

Beautiful

We loved our stay. The views were beautiful both day and night. There was no light or noise pollution. We floated the river, saw eagles and watched the deer play. It was a perfect getaway.

Autumn Sanctuary

The views are superb! Every direction gives a beautiful Mountain View and the fall colors did not disappoint. There was a herd of deer living within the property access, that would graze closely to the home. Very clean and VERY private. Will definitely book again!

There was nothing we didn’t like. The house had a great mountain feel. Beautiful wood floor and ceilings. The house has big windows all the way around the house. It was spotless.! The property was huge, very well maintained, the view was incredible and lots of deer and turkeys! Loved it!

Tranquility

Thank you for providing a space where we were able to leave behind the hustle of northern Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet the cabin and surrounding nature provided. We just couldn’t stop staring at the valleys and ridges, especially after a heavy storm came through and left the valleys covered in fog. We also enjoyed watching the deer graze right in front of the cabin. The coziness and cleanliness of the cabin made our stay even more enjoyable. We will try to come back to enjoy the changing colors of fall.

Home on top of mountain

You pull up to a gate then you start driving up and up this long gravel road you swing a right and there it is,, your dream vacation home. Clean ,, lots of room with vaulted ceilings and a sun room. The views are out of this world, day or night. No light pollution!! You can see the milkyway. Definitely recommend. Will book again.

Stunning Property and Stay

Words cannot describe the property. From the surround, 360 view of mountain ranges, to the woods/forest around, to the cabin itself. What a gem. The cabin is super clean and everything we expected and more. There’s hardly any cell service, no internet, but there is Dish. If you plan on cooking bring everything you’d think you need. There is minimum. It is a home away from home and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen all weekend. Such a great place for families. Do your research of the surrounding areas and plan before you go. We hope to return for many years to come.

Seneca Rock and Spruce Knob

Great property and location. Reminds me of a cabin in Europe. Unknown to me, the Greenbank Observatory had my cell service off the entire time I was there. Make sure you have backup maps of your travels in the area. Also plan on cooking at the rental.

Can't wait to go back!

This cabin definitely lives up to it's reviews! Its the perfect place to get away and unplug. We loved the views and the cozy feeling of the cabin, loved the amenities and the location for perfect for exploring the area! We'll be back next year!

Peaceful retreat.

This place is amazing. I’ve always looked for a place where you couldn’t here the sounds of traffic. This place was that. You’re on top of a mountain, surrounded by trees with a spectacular view. The cabin wasn’t too shabby either. Beautiful interior, everything you need in the kitchen. Super clean. Lots of space. Looking forward to booking again and bringing the family for a peaceful retreat.
