Top rate for everything at this rental!! Cleanliness superb, great response always from owner, beautiful property! Husband, son, and two grandsons had a wonderful time! Great location to enable their visits to smoke hole area and Seneca Rock! Especially enjoyed the river and fishing for loads of fun. Hope to be back sometime!

This was our 3rd year here. We love this home and the area. Remote and quiet. Peaceful. Sog friendly. Home owners are kind and quick to reply. Will be back next year!

Great place to stay

The house is super cute and very clean. We really enjoyed the views of the river and trees from the back deck. The gas fireplace inside the living room made it very cozy.

Family vacation

We had a great time fishing, swimming and making s’more at the fire pit. This is our second trip to Smokehole River House and we love it. My grandkids are already making plans for next year.

This is my second time staying here. If you want peace and quiet this is it. If you're the type that doesn't need to be busy all the time, this is the place to rest. The owner is kind and great to work with.

Wonderful!!!!

The house was spotless absolutely adorable so comfortable loved the pool and the deck. We had a wonderful relaxing time. This process was so easy. We plan to come back again and again. I cannot say enough good things about the host. So nice and available. In my 10 year old daughters words.... "it is a 10 out of 10"

Lovey family get together.

We had a wonderful time at the Smoke hole house The weather was perfect for swimming and fishing. My grandkids really enjoyed the pool and had a fantastic time. They’ve already asked me when we were going back. My daughter, son-in-law and twin grandsons had a wonderful time fishing. The fish were abundant and they caught several. ( they catch and release.) The house itself is very clean and the property is well-maintained. Our family will definitely be going back.

Peace and quiet

Started out a little rough. Was never given address and website gave me the wrong road. Spent 3 hours looking for the house. Once there property was nice enough. Pool was very cold. My mother missed out on fire and fishing because she couldn't make it down the hills. Yard was beautiful. Loved the front porch.

Great family getaway!

We stayed for 6 days at the end of August. We have two boys (ages 9 and 13), and the reason we chose this vacation cabin was because of the pool and access to the creek. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. All the beds and pillows seemed new and were very soft and comfortable. It was very nice having our own pool to come back to after hiking in the Monongahela National Forest . We also enjoyed creeking and fishing. The cabin has very easy access to the creek, and it is very shallow in places, so our boys could just play, or they tubed in the deeper parts. We took our telescope and looked at Saturn and Jupiter at night because you can see the sky so well from the deck. They have a very large fire pit and plenty of firewood, so we roasted marshmallows every night. The property is very large, and our boys had a great time just running around. We brought our trail cam, and it caught pictures of possums and deer that were active at night. The yard is large enough that you don't see any neighbors from the back yard, so it feels very secluded. We had a wonderful time!

Great mountain house

Our stay at the smoke hole riverhouse was fantastic! The location is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, the pool, fire pit, and the great fishing behind the house. The decor is so cozy. My kids enjoyed the large yard. We will be back for many summers!

This property joins with my grandmothers property which I have now inherited. It was where I spent every Sunday as I was growing up. It is a place of solitude and comfort to me. Listening to the river as it flows by is so peaceful.
