Resort Style with Hula Show, Fireworks and even Tiki Torches!

The Ilikai is the first hotel-resort condominium developed in Hawaii and is one of the original landmarks of Waikiki. It is best known for being featured in the Hawaii 50 TV series and is loved by tourist and locals alike. Conveniently located in Waikiki next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, it is steps away from the beach and a beautiful swimming lagoon. While not technically "on the beach" there are no streets to cross and it is literally just a 3 min walk after leaving the open air lobby to walk down a beautifully designed walkway which will lead you to the beach.

The lobby level amenities include a spa, hair salon, concierge, bell desk, restaurants, coffee shop, convenience store and resort retailers. There are also 2 pools including a swimming pool and a lounging pool. Valet parking is available 24/7. There are over 14,000 square feet of landscape yard and patios. 24 hour security.

The condo has been completely redecorated, freshly painted, mostly new furniture including a high end King size bed. Great view from the lanai (and from the bed!) of the lagoon and ocean. It has a fully equipped kitchen but if you prefer not to cook there are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from ranging from local fair to international favorites like Indian or Japanese.

It's the perfect place for a Waikiki stay.

Partial ocean view, and unit is located above the pool. The unit is fully furnished in a tropical theme and has everything to make you feel at home. Of note, the outdoor lanai has a bit of a challenge due to pigeon roosting and droppings.

The view of the Friday night fireworks from our room was absolutely incredible and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The pools were nice and warm, and it was great having such easy access to both the beach and the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon just a short walk from the lobby. The location is very convenient, with a quick walk to Ala Moana and the rest of Waikiki, but it still feels a little bit removed from the busiest part of the strip, which we really appreciated.Having shops and places to grab snacks and coffee right in the lobby was a big plus for our family and made everything easier. The room itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen setup, and worked perfectly as our home base while we explored Honolulu. Overall, highly recommend staying here and would definitely book the Ilikai again.

Amazing Property!

Our family absolutely loved this property! Very clean and perfectly located to beach, shopping, restaurants. Property offers complimentary luau on Friday on patio downstairs and Hilton Hawaiian Village fireworks show which we enjoyed from our balcony. We will definitely stay again... Mahalo Christy!

Christy is the consummate Hawaiian host who exudes the Aloha spirit from making the reservation, through timely answering of my many questions, and in the personal care she takes with the detailed appointments of the unit. The Ilikai is an iconic building in Waikiki...ask any local and many who have visited there since it opened in 1964 and they will tell you it is a special place rooted in Hawaiian culture. It is unique for a condo building because it is part hotel, part time share as well as privately owned condos so guests enjoy an a resort like atmosphere with cafe's, restaurants, shops, convenience stores and a beautiful open air lobby. The beach is just a few steps away with a beautiful walkway from the "Pacific Terrace" to the swimming lagoon and then to the beach. The best part is the Friday night fireworks display which you can watch from the lanai...cocktails in hand, or course! Aloha!
