Relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounding of this charming country cottage on 5 acres with orchards in rural San Diego. This is brand new construction and everything is pristine. Close to Palomar Mountain, Julian, Temecula, Casinos, Wild Animal Park, Wineries - wine tasting, local dining. Downtown San Diego or Costal Cities are between 30-45 away.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Everything was well stocked. Plentiful parking. Very dog friendly. It was so comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend!It's a little removed from San Diego so plan on a drive to do things in the city. We did the safari park and it was an easy 20 minute drive. We recommend Jilberto's for Mexican food.

The cottage is beautiful, roomy, and quiet! It was just perfect for a getaway with friends. Owner was so helpful in answering our questions. Everything was just perfect! Would definitely recommend this property!!

The cutest place!!

Was much more spacious than expected! Such a nice place to stay with our family as we got ready for a wedding. Clean and the owner was nice and super helpful! No issues whatsoever.

Barbara and Duncan's Farm, January 6-9

The location is really scenic, quiet and peaceful. The house is very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The host is friendly and welcoming and told us interesting things about the farm the area, but was never intrusive at all. We would definitely visit again.

The Perfect Getaway

We give this a 20 out of 10. Beautiful, clean, fun, updated and quaint, totally cool. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful location and cottage. Barbara, the host, is excellent, warm, and so thoughtful of her guests.

Perfect getaway

Barbara's place was perfect for our annual friend group getaway trip. The house was spacious enough for 8 adults yet cozy enough to feel close together. We loved the fire pit and being able to enjoy outdoors around the property and also the nearby hiking trails. Everyone said the beds were very comfortable and had great sleep. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Barbara was great to communicate with and we were inspired by her passion for sustainable living. Would recommend staying here!

A Beautiful Place to Stay

Beautiful home with plenty of space inside to accommodate people. Outside has plenty of parking room with an awesome fire pit to enjoy the cool evenings and the occasional shooting star. The overall atmosphere is inviting, warm, comfortable and removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hostess was so incredibly nice! She gave us a bunch of ideas for our groomsmen pictures and even brought us over freshly baked sourdough that she made herself! It was truly a beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend it.

Incredible

I hesitate to write the review that Barbara and this beautiful cottage deserve, only because I don’t want to share this location in the future! We showed up and it was my absolute dream property, a gorgeous location on acreage filled with a creek, swings, climbing trees, gardens, chickens and so much more. I wish we had more time to explore, but I know we will be back. There’s no way I won’t come back to this beautiful house. Barbara was kind, helpful, friendly and lovely to talk to. Her dreams for her land are inspirational and I am in awe. Thank you for such a stay, we look forward to next time.

Rural

The accommodation (cottage) met all of our needs as we wanted a rural location for a nearby family event. The kitchen was clean and functional, the two bathrooms and laundry supported the 8 adults in our group. The big couches offered our family a place to stretch and visit. Two of the bedrooms were excellent and functional. The two smaller bedrooms were probably meant for teens and children but we found a way to make them work. The exterior property allowed us to relax,and enjoy the beauty of the fruit trees and farm animals. The hosts were very welcoming and joyful communicators. If the opportunity presents itself in the future we would seek out this property as a rental. Very satisfied. RP
