The door handle was the only problem we had. It was very hard to close and also lock. Other than that it was a great home.

We had a fantastic time at Coastal Soul over Labor Day Weekend. The host is very responsive even before finalizing our booking. We traveled with six adults, two young children (4 months, 1 year) and three dogs (2 small dogs, 1 ESA). The house was clean and had all of the essentials plus more. The house is on the side of the main road that faces the beach so you have a beautiful view of the ocean from the deck. There is no direct walking access from the house to the beach but the public beach access is only a few minute walk and you can drive your car directly on the beach with no permit needed. A couple of things we noticed- the coffee pods were all decaf so we made a trip to Culture Coffee in the mornings for our caffeine fix. The couch in the living room facing the TV is a bit uncomfortable. There are no full length mirrors in the house. Bring your own drinking water since drinkable water is limited. And don’t be surprised to see yellow water in the toilet bowls. Aside from those little details everything else was great. Perfect weekend getaway with your family, friends, young children, and pets! Beautiful ocean views. Relaxing and easy to access location.

The pictures of the property do not reflect the condition of the furniture. The living room couches are very worn out and should be replaced. If you sit on either couch, you sink right in very low. The bedrooms have full size beds and not queen size in 2 of the bedrooms. The air conditioning is good, however, when you set the temperature at night before bedtime, the temperature rises to about 78 degrees and you sweating throughout the night. You will be resetting the temperature several times before morning. The water drained very slow in at least 2 of the sinks, and one sink backed up with possible sewage (not sure what it was). There was no dishrack to hold the dishes after washings. The can opener was difficult to use because it was partially broken, There is no security system as described. It was not connected and did not turn on. A connector piece for the front door security system was missing. The bbq pit was different as well. It was a very small pit which was not used. It was not a bigger pit that needed to have a security lock as described. It was a lightweight grill which may be good for hotdogs. The deck was nice, but the railing kind of blocked the views while sitting in the chairs. The TV's were good. The weather was rainy, so we were inside mostly. Make sure you have some mosquito repellant, because they are in heavy effect out there (at least on our stay). There were a couple of big roaches running around, but that may be unstoppable. Overall, our stay was ok.

We had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the house and front porch was amazing and so peaceful.

We had a great stay at this beautiful beach house! The home was exactly as pictured—clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The beach was just a few minutes away by car, which made it super convenient for our daily outings.Inside, the house was well stocked. All of the bathrooms had plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was a thoughtful touch. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals—lots of pots, pans, and utensils—although a kitchen towel would have been helpful. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms, but we did notice one bathroom didn’t have extra toilet paper.The property management team was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, which made the experience even better.Overall, we’d definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Great location

The house was beautiful and spacious. Having bathrooms in each room is so valuable everyone felt comfortable. There was a few hiccups we encountered but Monique the host took care of our needs and was very responsive. The only thing I would add if the owners can is to have a path dedicated to the house versus driving on the beach. This was not an issue for us to drive to the beach but having beach access was important to me as for convenance and accessibility. Monique was wonderful and very responsive.

Worked for our group. House looks different from the online information. No surprise there. They always do. Know it's a rental and for sale (way overpriced), but owner needs to fix the front door and lock, add to their kitchen equipment, and general updating. It would be better for the owner and guests.

Overall, enjoyable stay

I didnt realize the property was going to be on well water when choosing this rental. The metallic smell and light yellowish tint of the water was a complete surprise. (They have a reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink, but has limited capacity though.) Please bring extra bottled water for brushing teeth, consumption, etc...There were a few issues with cleanliness upon arrival, but was able to get host to resolve issues fairly quickly. The view was outstanding and worth it for the rental. It would have been nice to have a direct access to beach, but the closest beach access was about a block away, so not bad at all. The beach was very clean, not too crowded for the holiday weekend. The house was adequate for our group. Smart TVs in all rooms. Plenty of seating. Mattresses were comfortable. The linens were clean. Plenty of toiletries. All you really need to bring is yourself, some food, and change of clothes! Everything else is provided!

But could drive short distance to access beach. Water at house was a little smelly. I think filter was off. Also I'm not use to water near the ocean. Could of been a me thing. We had plenty of room.

Annual Family trip to Surfside

Clean, amazing view of the ocean. We usually have a bigger group so we picked a smaller home this year still it meet our needs plus pet friendly. The home was great and the property owners were very responsive. A few small hurdles to be expected. The house was cool & comfy.

Great home! Nice place! Beautiful views!

We enjoyed our trip! The view of the beach was beautiful, the house was very clean and very close to the beach, only we didn't check that it didn't have its own way to get to the beach we had to take our cars to get there, it was just few blocks away in our cars. We found everything we needed in the house except a blender we were trying to cook something that required a blender. Please add it to the list. We had a great time there even though!
