WHOOHOO! If you’re looking for a perfect place for a girl’s trip, anniversary/date getaway, or just a place to connect with family or friends, you’ve just found it!

If you haven’t yet stayed at the “Girlfriend Getaway,” you haven’t lived - you’ve merely existed! We are sure to surprise and delight you at this cutie little home. The Girlfriend Getaway is centrally located in Lincoln, NE and its keyless entry makes check in a breeze!

We want you to have the most comfortable stay you can imagine in our quirky Girlfriend Getaway.

Our goal is to provide the easiest check-in possible! The home has a passcode for the front door. This way you can access your home at anytime without worrying that you might disturb us meeting up with a key.
We want you to make yourself at home!!

You will find 2 bedrooms in the home. Both have a king-sized bed with the dreamiest of mattresses. Many people have likened it to, “sleeping on a cloud.” Your biggest dilemma is to decide who gets to choose their room first?!

Here we hope you’ll be able to spend time together creating special moments for lasting memories. We’ve set the home up with a fully stocked kitchen that includes a coffee bar and other assorted drinks and a few small breakfast items.

In the living room, there is a sectional couch that pulls out into a queen sized bed if you need it. Be sure to let us know if you would like us to make it ready for you. There is a 50" smart TV (no cable) in the home with access to Netflix (just use the GUEST profile) for you to use in the living room.

In the bathroom, you’ll die over the dreamy walk in tiled shower with the cutest pink penny tile floor and luxurious rainfall shower head. Believe me, you’ll want to marry this shower and take it home! The sink is unforgettable - who would have thought a sink alone could be so memorable? There will be soaps, shampoos, towels, and other various toiletries in the bathroom should you need them. There is also a stacked washer/dryer. Feel free to do a load of laundry!

Our goal is to surprise and delight you as you stay in our quirky little pink cottage! We hope that our heart for inspiring creativity in our guests and giving them inspiration to make their world more beautiful shines through.

My daughter and I stayed at the Girlfriend Get Away. Delightfully decorated and cozy to the max, we enjoyed our stay completely. The house was exceptionally clean, the amenities well thought out, and the back yard inviting. The Get Away was ideal for travelers who needed a comfortable place to rest and visit a slice of Lincoln.

Loved The Girlfriend’s Getaway!

My family and I stayed at The Girlfriend’s Getaway while in town for my daughter’s graduation. The house is absolutely ADORABLE! The pictures are spot on, but there are also fun surprises. Having convenience store 2 blocks away was perfect for grabbing milk and firewood. The owner responded quickly to my questions. Would 100% recommend!

Five star majestic stay

When I say this is a one of a kind of retreat. It is exactly that. Once you pull up and see the pink door you know you are about to walk into heaven. This adorable home is so luxurious and full of charm that you forget about your real life struggles and just enjoy your time there. The host were nothing but amazing and I can’t wait to come back to this pink paradise.

It’s a fun stay! They had everything you needed for the basics! Very cute decor, all the way up to the silverware! Would highly recommend and it’s a close stay to the Devaney Complex!

Very cute house with comfy king beds, a beautiful fire pit area in the backyard, a full kitchen, and enough space to hangout in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Super nice host that is very helpful and responsive! 3.5 miles from Memorial Stadium for those going to a Husker Game!

Short family get away

Stayed here for a quick visit to Lincoln. Tons of thoughtfulness with various amenities. Coffee was amazing! Backyard area did not disappoint. Gorgeous. Comfy beds and amazing rain shower area.

They have all the little things!

The property was wonderfully cute and perfect for our quick weekend in Lincoln. The best surprise was that they had a small thing of 1/2 and 1/2 in the fridge (we always forget that) and it so so so made our mornings! Thank you!

You got it going on

If you ever need to spend the night in Lincoln NE book this vrbo. Our stay was wonderful. The home was so clean and felt so friendly. The bedrooms are big l, the kitchen is a dream, and checkout the bathroom. The hosts provided so much to make sure we felt at home. The 2 things I enjoyed the most was a pink pig and an out of this world fire pit. The interior design was very unique and enjoyable and we could not have asked for better hosts.

My name is Susie and I run the Girlfriend Getaway with my daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Samuel. I own a shop about an hour and a half from here in Tekamah, NE called Master’s Hand.
Master’s Hand is a gift store delightfully full of all things gifts, women’s apparel, jewelry, home decor and more. In addition, there is a bakery that is home to our award-winning WORLD’S BEST Cinnamon Rolls and more. We have a chocolate factory where we make all sorts of delectable creations. PLUS we serve luncheons with reservations.

I’m pretty passionate about throwing kindness around like confetti and inspiring others to do the same! My hope is that this home is a place of connection with family and friends where guests can create special moments for lasting memories.
