“The King’s Retreat” A timeless Holden Beach gem located at 118 Salisbury with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms & outdoor shower. Main floor features an open concept living space with screened in porch & back deck with canal views. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms provide space to sleep up to 8 (6 adults) Downstairs you will find an additional sleeping space for up to 4 (queen bed/ daybed w/trundle) along with a living area and kitchenette. Outside features a covered area with picnic table, grill and outdoor shower with hot water. Bring your boat, kayaks, paddle boards and fishing rods for your private dock (*boat lift unavailable*) with straight access to the intracoastal. Out the front door it’s a quick walk to the pier & beach access. The King’s Retreat is ready for you to enjoy!

Clean and neat

Our family of 8 were not crowded, room in the lower area was great, no mildew smell, it was clean and neat. The walk to beach access was a little walk but over all we would stay there again.

We had a great time! The house fit us perfectly! We loved fishing of the back dock! The kids had fun catching crabs and using a cast net off the dock! Super easy walk to the beach!

Lovely, cozy home!

We came for a couple months to enjoy the beach during the winter and we absolutely loved every minute. This home has all you need and it’s very close to beach access.! It was just perfect for us and we would definitely rent again! The management service was very helpful as well when we had a package delivered!!

Relaxing getaway!

We stayed for 8 nights and had an amazing stay! My wife was able to walk out the back door and paddle away on her paddle board. We hit the beach daily via a short walk down the street. The outdoor shower is amazing and was used every day. Home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at this property on Holden beach. Canal with great dock for fishing. private outside shower. Plenty space for parking and hanging out underneath house. Close to beach access by pier and Raleigh St. Family of 10 from 8-65 years were comfortable throughout the house. Will look to book again in the future.

Summer 2024

Myself and my adult children stayed at King's Retreat. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and serving pieces. The location was an easy walk to the beach. The kids went kayaking on the canals and the Intercostal. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the back deck, screened in porch and fishing from the dock. Definitely a house we would come back to.

Cute home with nice access

Family of 9 plenty of space with access to the beach and canal. Well stocked kitchen with all the necessary appliances! (Some of the teflon cookware has seen better days ) but the toaster / toaster oven , griddle for pancakes and coffee machine were all clean and in good working condition! The front load Washer and dryer were nice! Cons a sectional couch or additional chairs/seating in the living room would be nice. Downstairs the couch recliners not working was a disappointment, and the bed definitely needs an upgrade (be ready to go to your chiropractor) if anyone other than a child sleeps on that mattress. All in all nice property! Enjoyed our stay! On The dock a ladder for accessing the canal would be nice also , and a foot washing station in the outdoor shower.

Great area, was so quiet and beach wasn’t packed! Kids caught a ton of tiny fish off the dock.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental, The Beach was a short walk, fishing on the private dock was nice, the local restaurants. The home was clean, We look forward to another visit.

Beautiful home.

It’s a friendly place. The house is 5 minutes walking distance from the beach . The house have an amazing deck to be relax in the afternoon. If you are looking for the best option to vacation with your family or friends this is the house that you need.
