Belle maison de canal avec quai privé, prÚs de la plage.

Le Salt Box, situĂ© au 116 Sanford St., est une grande retraite familiale idĂ©ale pour se dĂ©tendre et profiter de l'Ăźle de Holden Beach Ă  11 km. Notre maison est d'environ 800 pi. de la promenade Ă  la plage, ce qui en fait une promenade facile. Des trottoirs courent le long de l'Ăźle pour beaucoup de marche, de jogging ou de vĂ©lo. Notre maison est situĂ©e directement sur un canal avec notre propre quai privĂ©, idĂ©al pour la pĂȘche, la navigation de plaisance ou le kayak. Il n'est qu'Ă  quelques pas de l'accĂšs Ă  la plage oĂč vous pouvez ouvrir votre parapluie et profiter de la beautĂ© et du calme du sable et du surf.

Notre maison dispose de 4 chambres et 3. 5 salles de bain. Chaque chambre dispose d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision et nous fournissons Ă©galement un accĂšs WiFi. Il y a des ponts, un porche grillagĂ© avec des bascules et un hamac pour se dĂ©tendre et profiter des magnifiques couchers de soleil. De grandes fenĂȘtres vous offrent une superbe vue sur l'eau. Nous avons des salles Ă  manger extĂ©rieures et intĂ©rieures ainsi qu'un grill et une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Le Salt Box dispose de 2 merveilleuses douches extĂ©rieures fermĂ©es qui facilitent le nettoyage aprĂšs une journĂ©e sur la plage!

Glissez-vous chez nous et profitez d'une plage classĂ©e dans le Top 10 des meilleures plages familiales par le magazine National Geographic Traveler. Perfect location for boaters!

We stayed here for the 4th of July and we enjoyed this house so much that we secured it for next 4th of July before we left. Check in was easy. I had a few questions when we first arrived and response time was quick from the homeowner. We had 2 boats and 2 kayaks and they all fit. We just secured the boats beside one another without blocking the canal for other boaters. Location was perfect! Public beach access was almost right off this street. Waterway was quick and easy to get to. Not far from the bridge which was wonderful when driving the car or out boating. House was clean. Beds were comfy. AC was cold! House was well stocked. We can’t wait to return next year!

Family Fun!!

House and amenities were great. Well supplied with cook ware, flat ware, and plenty of dishes. We did miss the note about no bath towels be sure to take your own. It is a short walk to the beach but if you're carrying your umbrellas and towels and chairs you may want to consider driving if you do drive no that you will have to pay to park it's 20 per day or 80 per week. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked for next year.

Housekeeping do better!!

We had a good time, it’s the Beach!! The house is as described the number of beds/bedrooms & bathrooms worked very well for our family. The kitchen is well stocked with spices also. There was plenty of cleaning supplies, its nice that they are left and not removed, The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing from the dock. Easy walk to the beach which is were we hung out most of the time. Great shelling!! The bedding is not in the best condition, we were charged $100 for blankets that were stained by previous guest. The housekeepers could do better.

Great house!

The pictures online are outdated! Recent updates made it a wonderful surprise when we walked in. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. Canal access was great for kayaking. Quiet street. Would definitely stay again!

Best Atlantic Beach Rental

Thoroughly enjoyable. Very comfortable home. Our extended family of ten had plenty of room. Kitchen is well equipped and supplied. Screened in porch overlooks the waterway. The web site photos are a bit out of date insofar as there has been evident painting and other well done improvements made to modernize and harmonize the overall appearance. The owners investments in the home such as large deluxe washer and dryer, twin beach showers, and plentiful beach furniture for outdoor seating make for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended. My wife and I feel it’s the Best Atlantic Beach rental we’ve experienced in three decades of vacationing.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Saltbox. Short walk to the beach. Games, beach toys - felt like home. Kitchen was well stocked. We would go back.

The New Saltbox

Wow! We were amazed at all of the updates done to this house. The pictures were definitely outdated. Very spacious. Plenty of room. I loved the screened porch and dock. Everything we needed in the house was supplied. I did brake my hand when I tripped on the dock our last night. No one’s fault. At least it was the end of our vacation.

Great for boaters

Great for boaters, it was very nice not having to trailer boats everyday. House is a bit dated and in need of some maintenance, but overall, clean and accommodating for a everyone. The only downfall was towels are not provided, even though linens are provided on listing, so pack your towels!!!

Beach trip

Very nice property, we enjoyed our stay. It does seem to flood more in front of house more than other parts of street, and little bit longer of walk to beach access, but otherwise super nice home and we enjoyed our stay!

A hidden gem

We absolutely loved this place for our family week at the beach! The layout is wonderful and we had tons of room. The dock was great for fishing on the canal. The walk to the beach was an easy one. We will definitely be back soon!

Great for family memories

Owner was great to communicate with. Ample room for a family of four. Short walk to the beach and multiple seafood markets within a short drive. Our kids caught their first fish off the dock so bring some fishing gear or head to to the tackle store next to Food Lion.

It was relaxing and not too far from beach. there was pots and pans and utensils for us to use

It was nice to have the canal and doc for kids to go fishing. the grill was nice for our dinner one night. the kids enjoyed the hammock and the outside showers were nice to come in after the beach and get cleaned off. The washer and dryers were down stairs which was nice but would have been more convenient up stairs. over all a great time.

Recent visit to The Saltbox.

Very spacious interior. Owners had worked hard before we arrived to clean up hurricane residue. As an older property, kitchen contents (dishes, silverware, cookware) could be organized, downsized and updated. Also, cleanliness was an issue. Under beds, baseboards, tabletops, decorative items, blinds had not been cleaned in a while. This was disappointing.

We are a retired couple from High Point, NC. We thought a photo of some of our grandchildren enjoying Holden Beach might be more interesting than a photo of us! We have had so many wonderful times at Holden and know that you will too. We enjoy fishing, boating, walking on the beach and golfing at the many nearby courses.

After years of vacationing at Holden Beach, we decided to purchase The Salt Box. We have enjoyed many wonderful days with our children and grandchildren at this beach. We love the relaxed atmosphere and sneak away to the beach every chance we get!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our home offers direct access to the canals leading to the ICW with your own private dock. The dock is also great for swimming, fishing and boating. We are just a short walk to the beach too. The living space is very open so you can enjoy meals and leisure time inside as well. We have lots amenities to make your stay a pleasure! You can head to the beach, jump on a boat or choose from one of several outdoor decks to relax.
