Enjoy yourself in this beautiful, quiet one bedroom guesthouse. Located in central Hafnarfjordur. Just 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Reykjavik. The guesthouse is private, located in a friendly neighborhood and within walking distance from a variety of restaurants and supermarkets. The guesthouse offers a room with two single beds, sofa/sofabed, 43" TV with access to Netflix, Disney+ and Viaplay, and fully a equipped beautiful kitchen. We enjoyed our stay very much. Especially the heated floors. It was quiet, shopping needs are right around the corner and the location was great for us to explore the South East, Reykjavik and the Golden Circle.

Beautiful guest house!

This guest house is immaculate! The pictures don’t do it justice! It is very comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and the host is extremely responsive! We would highly recommend this guest house and would stay there again if we ever return to Iceland!

The property owners were very friendly and super helpful in making suggestions regarding restaurants, etc. The only thing I would suggest is that they put a water filter on the sinks, since the water had a strong sulfur odor. We highly recommend this place!

Hafnarfjordur Haven

We started and ended our Iceland trip here and loved it. Icelandic locals have mastered cosiness and that's what you'll get at Oskar's place. He also went above and beyond helping us last minute. I can't recommend enough. Be back soon!

Wonderful!

We loved our short stay at this small guesthouse! Everything was perfect: very quiet place, comfortable, clean, modern, well equipped. Walking distance to Hofnafjordur town center with waterfront promenade, shops, and restaurants. Very nice owners living in a house nextdoor.

Great Place

This spot was perfect, not far from the Sky Lagoon or downtown Reykjavik. Close to gas stations and grocery stores. Had everything we needed to make dinner for both nights as far as cookware/utensils. Was able to do a load of laundry for the second leg of my trip which was amazing. Hosts Oskar & Solveig were there to help with anything we needed. For sure if we come back to Iceland this will be our place to come back to!

Feels like coming home

This was our second stay, and we were welcomed by warm floors, a comfortable sitting area to curl up in with a glass of wine (available on site for the same price as the store would sell it), inviting lighting and two comfortable single beds (which we pushed together during our longer stay). Our host, Oskar, was light-hearted in his communication and was immediately responsive to any questions. It has been a delight interacting with him. I highly recommend this property.

Charming and peaceful

We stayed 5 nights and plan to return next week. The location is in a peaceful neighbourhood just on the edge of Reykjavik. Oskar communicated easily and in such a friendly manner, making sure everything was perfect. Our host went beyond expectations to show generous hospitality and the property was private, tastefully decorated and perfect for a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The in-floor heating was luxurious and all our needs were tended to. Thank you, Oskar, for the treats you left for us. We felt completely at home.

Coming home

The flat of Oskar and Solveig was our first leg of a 2-week holiday in Iceland. We checked in late (late arrival from the continent) and the beds were prepared, everything ready „to crash“. We particularly liked that the flat was extremely well equipped with the basics. You can start the day with a cup of coffee and if you have to emergency wash some clothes, even that is provided for. The flat is super clean and well laid out. Easy communication with the hosts. The bar is high for the accommodations to come. Thank you!

Perfekter Ausgangsort fĂŒr AktivitĂ€ten auf Reykjanes

Das kleine Ferienhaus ist urgemĂŒtlich und ausreichend fĂŒr 2 Personen. Von hier aus lĂ€sst Reykjanes aber auch die SĂŒdkĂŒste sehr gut erkunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt um die Ecke und auch die Innenstadt von Hafnarfjördur ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ansonsten ist man mit dem Auto oder dem Bus auch schnell in Reykjavik. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This beautiful guesthouse offers plenty of amenities, private parking just next to the door and is located in a friendly suburb of Reykjavik. It is located just in the middle of the airport and downtown Reykjavik with 20 minute driving each way.

There is one room with two comfortable beds and a sofabed in the living room if there is a third person. We can also provide a crib for a baby upon request. The house is brand new and has been stylishly decorated. The shower is large and in the bathroom there is also a washing machine/dryer.

If you are interested in checking out the volcanic eruption that is currently ongoing in the peninsula, it is only 30 minute drive to the place where the hike begins!
