Newly remodeled cabin in DuPont State Forest between Brevard & Hendersonville

This newly remodeled cabin is in the perfect location to relax indoors or outdoors. Located just 1 mile from the DuPont Recreational Trails and 3.5 miles from Triple Falls and Hooker Falls trailhead parking lot, many outdoor activities are easily accessible. Relax by the fire at night or grab a bite to eat in nearby Cedar Mountain, Brevard, or Hendersonville. This home is also located 3-5 miles from Caesars Head State Park, Camp Greenville, and Pretty Place.

The open living space features two leather couches, a club chair, and a 50 inch smart TV with WiFi for your favorite streaming apps. The dining table sits behind the couches and comfortably seats 6. The kitchen is housed with brand new appliances, granite countertops, and a farm sink. The washer and dryer are just off of the kitchen in the large walk-in pantry.

Master bedroom has a queen bed with Engineered Sleep mattress and dresser with the master bathroom accessible through the bedroom.

The second bedroom has a queen bed with Engineered Sleep mattress and dresser. There is a closet in the bedroom with extra linens, pillows, and blankets.

The second bathroom is in the hallway leading to the bedrooms.

The screened in back porch features a round table for 4, a hightop table, foosball game, and dart board.

Secured outdoor shed is available to store bikes and outdoor equipment with a bike washing station.

We absolutely loved this home for our long weekend vacation in the mountains as a family of four (almost 6 & almost 2 year old). The home had everything we needed, and more. It was exceptionally clean and family friendly. Located close to several family friendly hiking trails, cities and eats. Highly recommend, we'd love to come back!

Excellent stay with comfortable furniture and layout for everyone. We enjoyed the foosball table and dartboard on the back porch. Very convenient to miles of hiking and waterfalls. Several excellent restaurants right around the corner.

Family Hiking Trip

Can’t say enough good things about this property- newly renovated, great location, and a reasonable rate. This house in Cedar Mountain is a good home base for hiking in the DuPont State Park and visiting Brevard. We really enjoyed our stay!

First of all the house was beautiful and cozy. It was in a very quiet and peaceful location and very convenient to our planned activities. We spent a day picking apples at Jeter Mountain Farms and visited the Pretty Place Chappell. We also met some great people at the Cedar Mountain distillery and the Cedar Mountain Cafe(food was 10 out of 10)!!! Lastly the house was fully furnished with everything that you will need! Everything was a perfect 10 out of 10!!! We will return! (SOON)!!!

Perfect location

Labor Day Getaway

Had everything we wanted and needed. Was well stocked and close to DuPont and other hiking trails. Back porch was so nice and had plenty of room. Everything in the house worked and our daughter got her laundry done as a bonus. Great stay.

Great DuPont Forest Location

This was a great location for easy access to the DuPont Forest and visiting a Pretty Place. Not only a great place near hikes, but very close (drive) to the towns of Hendersonville and Brevard. This house has recently been remodeled and was very comfortable and very clean. The owners have been very thoughtful by providing many items to make your stay a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice, comfortable, clean, peaceful place. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your getaway. We ate at the cafe right down the road for breakfast and lunch, very close to Pretty Place Chapel where we attended a wedding, visited the little Cedar Mountains Coffee Bar at the end of the road as well as Cedar Mountain Moonshine at the end of the road. Very nice people in this little town and they had the best peach moonshine slushies, live music on the weekends, visited all the waterfalls within the surrounding area. This is a very recommended by us for sure! Thanks Jason and Ashlan for being such great host!

Property was immaculate! Very well taken care of. Cozy atmosphere. What I appreciated the most was the attention to details. They did not skimp out on name brands. Dove, Crest, soft toilet paper

Pretty place NEAR Pretty Place

Location was perfect for what we had planned. Ashlan was the sweetest and her little touches around the house made it more like home. I would highly recommend this beautiful place. Clean. Beautiful. Friendly.
