Great family vacation with pups and children. The kids enjoyed the pool and we loved the proximity to things. We biked everywhere. We will definitely be back!

Our Favorite of them all!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having now rented 10 homes on SSI in as many years, Baisden Cottage is by far, our favorite of them all! Additionally, Real Escapes is the best property management company on the island.

Could not ask for a better rental. The private pool is definitely a bonus. The house was clean and communication about the rental was super easy. Highly recommend this rental and Real Escapes!!!!!

Great girls weekend

The house was simply beautiful. Spotlessly clean and very well supplied with the essentials. The location is great, easy to get to all St. Simons has to offer. Within walking distance to the lighthouse and pier I would be more than happy to stay again and I highly recommend this house to anyone.

Best stay ever

This was our first trip to SSI and my first time using VRBO. The ease of communication with Real Escapes Properties was amazing....the only thing that surpassed it was the rental we were in. It was convenient to everywhere, clean, and more than we expected. The in ground pool was a pleasant surprise and absolutely just added to the trip. We are already planning our next visit.

When we arrived, the pool was green, but the property owners were very responsive and had a pool company there within an hour to get it taken care of, which we really appreciated. We also found that the kitchen sink was backed up from the previous guests, causing water to leak into the dishwasher and onto the floor. The backyard hadn’t been cleaned up before our arrival either—the chairs were scattered around, and the porch hadn’t been blown off or tidied.The beds were firm but still comfortable. Despite the maintenance and cleanliness issues at check-in, we ended up enjoying our stay. The pool was perfect for little kids once it was cleaned, and the location was excellent—close to everything we wanted to do.

Overall, the place was great. Had to wash towels when we first got there and pool was dirty. The downfall we had was the pool guy and the lawn people came with no warning from the property management or was warned via check-in. We were in the backyard and relaxing with no warning. We have dogs which they started to bark and alert us someone was coming in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful cottage centrally located: 5 min to town and 10 min to WinnDixie. House is newly constructed and furnished with top notch furniture and appliances, dishes, etc. Management company is very helpful and efficient if you need anything. Only drawback is a miniscule yard although it is private on two sides with a fence.

Minor Change Needed

This little house was just perfect for a girls weekend to the island! The location is great, the home sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.. We enjoyed riding our bikes to breakfast each morning from the home and the beach was just a short 3 minute drive by car. It is obvious the owners have put a lot of time and effort into the home. however, the beds were just horrible! As much as we enjoyed the home, we would not return without assurance that the mattresses on all beds had been replaced.
