Our stay was outstanding, and the host is a great communicator. Everything in the listing was representative of the actual property. Everything was clean, the unit was well appointed, the beds were super comfortable, the hot tub and pool were fantastic and super clean. The property is in a great, centrally located location! Amazing Family Retreat We thoroughly enjoyed our short vacation to celebrate 70th birthday. The home was cozy and perfect for our family to relax and connect with each other. Pictures do not show the wonderful layout of the bedrooms and screened porch. The private pool was clean and included pool toys which were a big hit with the children. The homeowner thought of everything to make our vacation complete including beach chairs and towels. Thank you Darlene for sharing your lovely home.

The Perfect Place to Connect and Relax

Perfect Beach House

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week at this well-appointed and cozy beach house. The distance to 5th Street beach was very short, perfect to use the included golf cart. Plenty of beach chairs provided, plus an umbrella. The pool and spa in the backyard were perfect for lazy afternoons and night swims. The beds were very comfortable and we slept like babies. Darlene was so sweet and was quick to answer all of our questions. We brought our two doodles and the house was plenty large for the four of us and our pups.

Peach at the beach

We loved the location, amenities, and layout of the home. Cookware and appliances were excellent and beds were comfy. Pool and jacuzzi were a bit difficult to operate but Darlene tried her best to help. Screened in porch and tropical plants around the exterior were beautiful. TVs in each room made sure that everyone could have downtime as needed. Thanks for the great stay

Fabulous Stay on St. Simons

We booked a girlfriend getaway for a long weekend and had a wonderful stay here. The location is super close to downtown, the pier, and lighthouse, and the nearest beach is about half a mile. We could not have asked for a more perfect home for our needs. It was very comfortable, well-stocked, and we had plenty of room for our group of 7.We highly recommend.

St.Simon's Gem!

My family and I stayed at this wonderful island gem over the week Hurricane Milton hit Florida! Thankfully we just had minimal rain and minor wind gusts one night. This home was perfect for our family ranging in ages 9 to 73! We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the screened porch! We had ample room and the decor was so charming and tastefully beachy! I am not exaggerating when I say 'you could eat off the floors!" This place was very clean and welcoming! Great location too! Would love to stay here again! Julie C

Great place on St Simmons Island. The house was very cozy yet still roomy. House was larger than we expected and had a nice layout. The pool was a life saver with the kids. We loved all the details in the decorations-each room has a different theme. We really enjoyed it!

Amazing House!

My wife and I recently stayed one week at this truly amazing house. First, the location was incredible. We could walk to the beach, town, and park. However, with a golf cart provided, who needs to walk? The house itself was so comfortable and all on one floor making it perfect for elderly adults and children. In the backyard we found a large pool with attached whirlpool. There are plenty of lounge chairs and towels for the whole family. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful meal after a long day playing in St. Simons Island. We look forward to staying in this wonderful house the next time we travel to St. Simons. Highly recommended!

Amazing!

This place was one of a kind! It is decorated so cute and very spacious. We loved spending our time in the pool and hot tub. The beach is so close and it’s not too far to walk into town. Darlene is the BEST host! She even brought a new toaster when ours wasn’t working along with fresh baked brownies! It was our first time in St. Simons and we are hoping to make it back to this property again because the house and host were so lovely! You won’t regret booking here!

If only I had known


I had to make two calls to the host! The first to inquire where to order the linens as they were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on (organic bamboo - who knew)?! The second to make arrangements to come back next year! Our family has always vacationed on the Gulf, but my mother insisted we make a short trip to St. Simons en route. I had no idea how great this island was for both children and adults alike! The vacation house and Darlene were AWESOME! Super clean, all on one level (a must for small children and grandparents). Everyone loved the fun, beachy vibe this property gave us. It was well maintained inside and out! The nice, large pool was wonderful, and it was a beautiful neighborhood for walks - only a couple of blocks to the beach and downtown. Everything was perfect - until we left
 the children cried and that was even after we extended an extra day! Definitely coming here next year - NOW I KNOW!

Labor day weekend

We decided on Friday to take a quick weekend getaway for the labor day weekend. To our surprise we were able to rent this property for Saturday through Monday. Checkin was 4 but I texted asking if we could get in early and yes we were able to get in the house at 2:30. The house is very comfortable and so beachy. We absolutely loved it. We spent the entire day in the.pool on Sunday. I will definitely be coming back and soon! I hate to gush to much because I want it to be available the next time we want to go back to st. Simon's...lol you won't regret renting this hidden gem!

Less than five min walk to the beach or leave your car at home and avoid parking hassles going out to the beach or out to eat. Rent bikes and have the run of the island! Just a short walk to village and many amazing places to dine! Our guest rave over this vacation home, pool and location!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

On a quiet private street amongst century old oak trees yet right in the hub of St. Simons! The pool is larger than most private homes - you can actually swim and play games in it! Spa heats up in 30 min and the pool can be heated for a gas fee in the colder months. It has an outdoor hot and cold shower for returning trips from the beach. Tall ivy covered privacy fences in the side and back yard give plenty of privacy and safety.
