In need of repair and renovation
Rating Details:
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
We needed a place because we were between homes. Since this was the only available unit, we booked it. This condo was dirty upon arrival. There were blood splatter stains on a door and adjacent wall of one of the bedrooms. Also, there was trash in one corner of the kitchen, including used a used bandage and hospital bracelet. There were cobwebs on the window treatments with a moth in one that had apparently been there a while. The porches were filthy.The interior is way overdue for upgrade. The carpets are old and have numerous stains that look like pet stains. The front door frame has wood rot and visibly shakes when using the door. The jamb is mushy from rot. This was brought up to the realty company and it was inspected. The repairman said he would do a temporary repair, but that was not accomplished during the month we were there. There are water stains on one of the shower ceilings which show some evidence of mold. Several cabinet doors and a drawer in the kitchen are damaged (missing hardware, loose hinges, etc.)We stayed at The Residences in 2014 (different building) and rebooked because we originally had a good experience there. However, this unit needs much to be done before I'd recommend it.
