Historical Fair Oaks barn rests on 1.3 acres in the heart of Roswell, Located 1 mile from Canton Street in downtown Roswell. Canton St. is a popular spot for the locals offering fabulous restaurants, live music and adorable, quaint boutiques. Located less than a mile from us is beautiful Roswell Park with a community pool, gorgeous walking trails, and an outdoor gym. Also, we are just 2 miles from Vickery Creek trail at Roswell Mill and only 30 min outside of Atlanta.

Note: We live on the property, our house is adjacent to the barn.

Please remove garbage from the kitchen and bathroom trash cans. Please place them outside on the gravel on the side of porch for pickup. Thank you!

Just love this location and the charm of the space. The stained glass additions and farmhouse decor are beautiful. Beds are comfortable and amenities are plentiful.

Review – 1  (Very Poor)We stayed at this property for five days and were deeply disappointed. The house looked great on arrival, especially the location, but the experience quickly turned uncomfortable. I've waited nearly a week since I brought these issues up, and unfortunately, I am still waiting for a timely resolution. I am not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones but here is the rest of the story. Air‑conditioning failure: The main AC stopped working on day 2. After contacting the host on the morning of day 3, they only asked us to confirm thermostat settings—both of which were already correct. The indoor temperature climbed to 80 F and never dropped below that. Portable AC with foul smell: The host offered a portable unit in the loft, but it emitted a strong, mildewy odor, making it unusable. Electrical issue: A technician finally arrived the day before we left and identified a damaged circuit board in the main AC. He said the repair could be completed after our departure, leaving us to endure the heat for most of our stay. Random fan/light activation: The living‑room ceiling fan’s light turned on intermittently during the night, disturbing sleep and adding to the overall discomfort.Despite repeated attempts to resolve these issues, the host has not responded to VRBO regarding our request for a partial or full refund. We cannot recommend this property to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable vacation rental.

A really neat home and you can tell a lot of work went into creating a warm and inviting feel. Coffee and wine waiting, some snacks, and little things that made it feel comfortable right away. Great location to food and family we were visiting. Loved it

Sweet Country Living in the City

We enjoyed our experience in this beautifully appointed barn due to its location near Old Roswell Square. Many coffee shops and restaurants to share with our daughter and friends whom we visited. Enough room to have had our whole family join us for this Father’s Day Getaway

Quick Summer Break

We spent only 3 days but the location was ideal for the four of us. My daughter was able to visit SCAD for freshmen orientation and we got to drive the carts at Andretti racing for my son. Plenty of room and a great rustic feel. Thanks so much for having us.

Unique barn lodging

We had a wonderful stay at the barn. The location was very convenient although the entrance was elusive the first time arriving in the dark. The place was very clean and the greeting basket of goodies was very much appreciated. All in all we enjoyed the barn and would stay there again.

Girl's Trip 2024

Beautiful renovated barn decorated to perfection! Close to downtown Roswell with its wonderful restaurants and shops......and Tubing! We had a wonderful time and greatly appreciated the welcome basket filled with wine and goodies! The owners are very busy with their contracting business, so I think they are a bit time crunched, as the landscaping around the barn was lacking. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable trip!

A different type of place, but exactly what we wanted. We had a fire outside in the yard both nights. Delightful. The only feedback is there is a hole in yhe yard that needs to be filled. Its big enough for a foot to drop in.

Just perfect!

The Fairoaks barn was absolutely perfect for our stay for a baseball tournament! Having access to do laundry and cook a few meals was important. The place is clean, comfortable and decorated just adorable. Very convenient to groceries, restaurants and activities. Owners were so nice and responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!

From the moment we booked our stay at the "Renovated Charming Barn in Historic Roswell", it was clear we were in for a treat. This property exceeded our expectations in every conceivable way and truly made our visit unforgettable. The barn was impeccably clean, a detail we immediately noticed upon our arrival. The beds were not just comfortable, they were a cloud-like dream after a day of exploring the area, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. Moreover, the place was generously stocked with every household product we could have needed, from cleaning supplies to cooking utensils. The abundance of fluffy, fresh towels was a pleasant surprise too - a detail often overlooked in many vacation rentals. Communicating with the hosts was an absolute breeze. They were responsive, welcoming, and more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality significantly contributed to the overall positive experience. Despite the barn giving off a rustic, country feel, we were thrilled to discover that we were just a stone's throw away from the heart of Roswell and Alpharetta. It was the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. Not to mention, ample parking made our comings and goings extremely hassle-free. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful fire we made one night. There's just something magical about a crackling fire under a starry night sky, and this property offered the perfect setting for that.
