Centrally located within 15-30 min of Downtown Colorado Springs, Garden of the gods, US Air Force Academy, the Broadmoor Hotel, Manitou Springs, Red Rocks Open Space, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Hiking trails and parks, and more! Some oise (footfall and talking) should be expected because it is a basement area.

The property was amazing, I was a little hesitant to book when I read “basement” my brain said dungeon Lol! It is very nice airy property with an industrial theme design. Very clean and comfortable. Easy communication with the owners and affordable pricing.

We stayed 4 days. Message when we checked in was to let them know if temperature needed adjustment because thermosta was located upstairs. . I messaged to say we were cold and received no response. Bed is low platform bed and not comfortable. There pillows were particularly uncomfortable. Also there customer should be told there are several steps to get down to back lower apartment. All this being said the apartment is well thought out and really pleasant..

Relaxing Stay

This was a wonderful stay for us! The place was clean and so nice! The bed was so comfy too! It was quiet and comfortble. We had everything we needed for a home away from home. Nice location for us to plan day trips from. David was wonderful to work with. I recommend this highly!

The only thing was a little trouble getting the key out of the lock box and getting the correct wifi network. No big deal and the hosts were very quick to respond. 😊

The property is not complete it’s still being renovated. The description says PRIVATE entrance PRIVATE hot tub. Does not I for you that you have to park across the street, walk down a gravel rock entrance very steep, no lights. You have to walk right past the second family living there before you get to the entrance. The upper house controls the thermostat for the whole house so if you need it fixed you text and ask. The basement apartment shares the same water heater as the whole house so good luck getting a hot shower. The hot tub was serviced the day I arrived versus days prior. Was only 94 degrees until mid next day. The controls have no labels of any sort so your winging what temp or anything. It would be nice tk be told the whole information about the property before agreeing to rent and then 5 hours prior to check in you are informed your sharing a house with 2 other families and your in the bottom level. Literally heard everything from the doors opening to the toilets flushing. People walking across the house. Definitely false advertising with the whole details about the brand new remodeled basement apartment with private hot tub. Be honest with what your going to be having at the property. And next time make sure the cleaner has plenty of time before guest arrive so the guests are not having to fold their own towels and bedding. Just being honest. The place will be great once it’s fully done being remodeled. But say that in the advertisement.
