This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom (plus bonus area with day bed + trundle) located at Surfside Resort offers one of the area’s most outstanding locations with on-site amenities and a breathtaking view of the ocean.

Exactly as described - great location - great value

The property was exactly as described. The unit was clean and had all the amenities needed. Was in a great location - steps from the beach with restaurant on-site. Pool was great. The hosts were wonderful. Couldnt have asked for a better experience!!!

Very clean and sooo much space!

This condo was so amazing for our family! Bedrooms had plenty of sleeping for everyone and the beds were super comfy! It was very clean and great view of the beach from the balcony!

Review

Property had not been cleaned upon arrival. Delayed our check-in. Poolside bar not available the full week of stay. The resort has 15 floors with only 2 elevators, but during the week 1 elevator had continuous maintenance issues and would be closed.

Wonderful Vacation

It’s a great Condo! It’s beautifully decorated, clean, and so comfortable with everything you need and then some. We really appreciated the beach chairs, beach mats, and umbrellas they came in handy.. The view is beautiful, the ocean is just a short walk across the street, so convenient! The restaurant, Royal Palm Grille in the resort is very good..The best Fried Shrimp in the area..😃

The location was great! The host was very sweet, the unit is a little outdated and has a few minor issues that could be fixed, the property was very clean. Parking seems to be an issue quite often if you drive a truck.

Our stay in Destin

The overall location and cleanliness of the condo was great. We did have some difficulty with the electrical switches for the kitchen lighting and the light under the microwave was out. Other than that, there was plenty of room for 4 of us. The location can't be beat Courtney was wonderful to work with and quick to respond to all my questions. We would definitely consider staying her again! Lisa

Listing states recently updated but could definitely use more/finish. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but very unorganized and took up space needed for food storage in pantry cabinet area. Most cabinets would not close properly throughout the property. The bed was squeaky. The living room furniture wasn’t comfy (leather couch is cold and not inviting). The bathroom towels were tiny, thin, and didn’t smell fresh. The patio furniture could definitely be updated, and the sliding glass patio doors were rusted/rough looking and difficult to slide. The unit didn’t smell fresh. The bathroom with the tub needed major updates throughout the entire bathroom. The tile shower had mold and gunk in the corners and in the track of the glass door that also needed a good scrub. Hot water was an issue in the evening or if you used the washer (even a cold cycle).

Wonderful location!

The owner was very responsive. She also let us know it was ready early!! We loved having so many options for sleeping. The master has a king bed with an extra daybed with trundle and spacious bathroom with a stackable washer/dryer. On the other side of the condo is a King & a twin with another full bathroom. There is also an extra pullout couch that we ended up not even needing! Our family of 6 enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach. We also used the basketball court. You can check out a ball overnight! A favorite was eating on the balcony while looking at the water. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beach Getaway

The property was in the perfect location. All facility services for this unit were not available because the unit is privately managed. Bath tub drained very slow (standing dirty water in tub when taking a shower), and couldn't get anyone to fix it. Overall the unit was clean, however the toilet was dirty, and stuff on carpet in corners and on the sides of the beds. But overall the unit was nice with a great view of the beach.

A lovely family weekend

We had a fantastic time for our Fourth of July visit. Wonderful location; having the private beach was awesome. Condo has a great full kitchen to cook meals and overall was perfect for our 2 families to share but still have our own spaces. Having the extra small beds was great for our young kids. Beds were comfortable and the condo was well-stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. While the building was across the street from the beach, the walk was not bad at all. A few minor things to mention. The kitchen lights were a little temperamental and hard to turn on but worked after flipping off and on several times. The owner left a plastic table cloth and asked us to use on the dining room table during our stay. While we had no problems with this, it was the kind that is intended to be single use/disposable, and having two toddlers on our trip, it was difficult to wipe down and easily got holes. It might have been better to leave maybe one table cloth per day if using disposables or invest in a thicker/more durable and wipeable table cover that can live on the table to make cleanups a little easier and still protect the table. The condo was clean for the most part except for a few pieces of trash here and there in nooks and crannies but nothing major. The elevators were a little slow but that has nothing to do with the owner or specific condo, just something to keep in mind. Big building with only 2 elevators on a holiday weekend meant lots of waiting. Only mentioning these points because it was such a lovely/near perfect place, and with very small improvements it could be even better!

Enjoyed!

The condo was wonderful and had everything we needed! The only things that we didn’t like weren’t specific to the condo only the resort (only 2 elevators and they are extremely slow so long waits).. Also no canopies or tents are allowed on the private beach associated with the resort so we had to carry everything down a little ways to a different area. The actual condo though was wonderful! Great views, super comfy beds, clean and very well equipped with more than we needed! We will visit again!

Great condo

The condo was the perfect size and in a great location by the beach. The property has a restaurant, pool, bar and activities on the beach. We will be back.
