Beautiful home in a quiet area. The views were absolutely amazing. We love the area (Petit Jean) and would definitely stay in this cottage again. My GPS tried to take us to the wrong address. When I tried to access the directions the owner sent through the VRBO app, I couldn't get a signal. So make sure you have your directions lined out before you lose your signal. Fortunately, we stopped at a nearby gift shop, which coincidentally is owned by the same person who owns the cottage, and she was able to direct us there.

Host was wonderful. Gave us what we needed (code to place) and let us have a great getaway! We loved the cottage. We needed nothing as everything was provided but own own food and firewood! Enjoyed the fire pit and even the hot tub (30 degree night didn’t stop us!). Views are amazing. Sooo very close to all of Petit Jean. We are in love with this place and the host is amazing! Perfect!!!

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the property. It would be perfect with bigger beds! King sized beds or even queen sized would be much more comfortable. The cabins are well maintained and otherwise very comfortable.

Had a lovely time. The cabin is very clean and cozy. Be prepared to have tiny visitors during ladybug season, as that's part of being in the woods. Heat rises a lot in an A-frame so the top bedroom stayed warmer than the bottom. There's also a space heater on the wall that worked well and was very pretty. The best part is the view. Absolutely gorgeous overlook and perfect proximity to everything on the mountain. There's a handicap accessible fishing dock just a few minutes away by car, and bait can be bought at the Outpost which is on the way there (but it doesn't open till 10). Very reasonable checkout expectations.

The view was spectacular. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long days hike. We gathered wood around the property and made a great fire and played a little horseshoes. It was close to all the amazing trails and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning view! Very clean place. Comfy, cozy, and quiet. The deck was my favorite place Enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset everyday. Perfect way to start and end each day. What a location!

Only in for two days to hike Petit Jean, we wanted something close with all the comforts of home and Cedar Falls Cabin was stellar! Not a detail missed in thinking of their guests! We were comfy and felt well cared for our entire visit.

The good life!

From the moment you drive up, you will know you made the right decision with this property. Our families booked all 3 houses and had an amazing week. One of the cleanest houses we have stayed in for VRBO. This team did a phenomenal job from the location, house design, decor, to the beautiful gift shop.

Beautiful, relaxing cabin

This wonderful cabin is located on a brow that overlooks a gorgeous valley. The back porch provides a relaxing place to have coffee and enjoy a sunrise or sunset. It is located right outside of Petit Jean State Park which features many well-marked trails. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. The bedding and blankets were super comfortable! The air inside and outside of the cabin was so clear! There is a fantastic coffee shop right down the road before you enter the state park. There is also a fantastic gift shop as you exit this property on the main road. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful views

Watching the sunrise and early morning color from the balcony was wonderful. Bed was comfy. Floor to ceiling windows are beautiful except in the afternoon when the bright sun makes it difficult to enjoy the living room or eat at the table. The coat hooks in the entry way were so very useful! Owner worked with me kindly when we needed to reserve for an additional night. Some suggestions for the owner: Provide a small folding step-stool. It was very hard to see and reach the controls for the dryer. Rewire the downstairs bathroom so that the very loud fan does not come on every time the light is on. We did not even realize the mirror in the entry way had some directions on it about how to locate things like pods for dishwasher until the last day. Perhaps needs a darker pen color? Provide many more hooks or racks in the downstairs bath for wet towels/washclothes to hang. Please provide a shower caddy! For those who want to use their own toiletries, balancing them on the very tall in-shower soap dispenser was less than ideal. A lovely place to stay and these things would make it even better!
