The views from the back deck and inside were AMAZING. The place was very well kept and clean. Location is close to the state park.

We didn’t stay. Property on top of mountain. We had recited ice/snow week of stay. I contacted them and asked if we could reschedule and was told it will melt. We could come. It did not melt, contact them again after talking to Ranger on top of mountain and was told no roads were cleared and did know when they would be. Therefore we were not coming. Reply was, “Thanks for letting us know.”

Great fit for quick trip to Petit Jean with grandkids. Cabin was clean, comfy, quiet. Hot tub a big hit! Would definitely stay here again. Host was quick to respond to email. Beautiful view!

Had a wonderful time! Beautiful view, very lovely decorated cabin, & great amenities! So close to all the hiking and biking trails. If you love the outdoors and need a quiet place to stay this is perfect!

Drop dead gorgeous view and cabin

The small touches like the laundry detergent and dishwasher packs, fully stocked coffee bar, utensils and cooking equipment really made this place stand out. The view alone was worth every penny. The bed was super comfortable, we loved getting to use the hot tub, and it was very quiet. The only problem we had during our stay was the gas grill was broken and had to wait a while for the hosts to message back to tell us yes they know it’s broken but you can light it with a match .Not everyone is going to be comfortable using a match on a gas grill. For 2 days we spent $500 with cleaning fee-I’d expect all the things in the house to work properly. Other than that snag, well worth it.

Weekend stay

Very well appointed, clean and the property manager was quick to respond to communication requests (I asked about early check-in). My ONLY recommendation would be to provide luggage racks.

A view that never got old

The house was very clean and tidy with only one exception
 the Keurig coffee machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. I purchased some coffee maker cleaner and did it myself. The house could use a few more kitchen essentials, but was pretty well stocked. The outdoor grill on the patio needs a good scrub and maintenance. We couldn’t use it because there was lots of rust on the burners/grates. The location was so private, but still close to the neighborhood shops and swimming. The view is absolutely breathtaking and never got old. We loved sitting on the back patio and bird watching. The view from the loft bedroom was even better! Overall, it was such a great vacation rental! Would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway with your spouse or a full week with the kids like we did.

A Cabin with Style!

The cabin was beautiful! The layout of the cabin is perfect for the view. The cabin seemed almost brand new. Is it designed beautifully! They had everything we needed! They supplied everything you could need for a weekend trip. From washing pods, to shampoo and conditioner. The back deck was our favorite part. We got to grill and relax with an amazing view. The kids were able to ride their bikes on the property and up and down the gravel road. This is a perfect place for a family get away!

convenient location

My 3 sisters and I chose our first hiking trail experience in Petit Jean State Park. Our stay at the Bear Cave cottage only enhanced our trip. Going “home” at the end of the day to such a relaxed environment at Bear Cave helped to make our trip that much better. The atmosphere and location were just like being at home. Thank you.

Excellent Cozy Getaway

2024 Total Solar Eclipse/Bear Cave

Deanne was a GREAT host, easy to communicate to before, during, & after stay. Thank you for the gift basket, very nice touch! My hubby, friend, & I stayed there 4 nights. The cabin was exactly as described, clean, close to Petite Jean Park, Morrilton had plenty of places to eat out (we do not like to cook on Vaca), PERFECT spot to see Total Solar Eclipse! We didn’t even have to leave cabin, watched it from back balcony, which has a BEAUTIFUL view of valley, & mountain brow! Very relaxing! Took a day trip to Hot Springs
.a lot of little shops
for the shoppers! They even have a Gift Shop at the beginning of the road leading up to the cabins (3), a lot of nice gifts or souvenirs for someone special or yourself. Anyone we came into contact with was super friendly & courteous! We would definitely go back!
