Peaceful Retreat

If you’re looking to get away from people this is the perfect spot. Great indoor and outdoor space. We used the Lenark boat ramp and got our limit of scallops nearby. Dock accommodates small boats no problem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is such a lovely spot with the large porch, beautiful canopy of trees and awesome views. We caught/released many fish off the dock, watched the sunrise from the porch and cooked some good food. The bed was comfy, shower hot. We lucked out and had the house open almost the entire 13 days with a wonderful breeze, with only one day of rain! It’s nice that the lot next to it is vacant. It felt private and quiet. We looked up the other vrbo’s we had picked out and we are sooo happy we picked The Blue Crap Shack. Shaded lot, plenty of room to walk the dog. Just bring groceries, fishing gear and just veg-out.

Memorial Day Fishing

The house is a cool spot. Caught lots of fish off dock. Nice yard. About 15 miles to Appalachcola. Less than 5 miles to Carabelle. Boat ramp close by in Lanarck. We will be back!

Well I have to say we stay in this area often. I mean how could you not. This house was perfect for what we needed. My best friend lost her son ar age 18 to a horrible accident a year ago. This brought the peace and relaxation she and her husband needed. The smile and peace on their face said so much. Your house and location brought that. Not Fancy but a home feeling. Clean and just perfect. You would not regret booking this "home sweet home" right on the water.

Travel back in time and stay on the water with breezes.

My husband and I stayed at The Blue Crab Shack. The home was fully stocked with things you need for food prep and presentation. Beautiful unique decorations. I loved the paintings. The screened in deck is amazing. The dock is the place to be especially when it's cooler. Beautiful breezes, a green for walking ones pooch.. Family visited us for a couple of hours the day before we left. Time alone at dusk feeling the breezes and seeing the dock lights come on was surreal, quiet and filled with The Lord's Peace. A special experience.

Great place to stay. Weather yoh want to fish or just get away. We got over 50 fish over the several days we stayed. If you have a boat or kayak. Bring it. Boat launches everywhere. If you kayak. Man its just a great. Go check out the barrie islands yoh see at low tide. The tide is crazy. My areas isn't as drastic. But be mindful of tide if you are fishing off a vessel. Other then that. Amazing place to stay. Great property 10 0ut 10 stay and place.

A very family-friendly rental. The porch is a relaxing area where you spend most of your time. The dock is super nice for fishing. The yard is neatly manicured as well. The kitchen is properly stocked for cooking meals at the house. Carabelle is just down the road if you want to visit a restaurant or need a grocery store. It is a very peaceful property!

Loved the dock and screened in porch! TV’s in bedrooms did not pick up stations. Kitchen well stocked. Comfortable bed.

Heaven on Earth

Fishing is what we came to do and fishing we did! The house is very well stocked and equipped. We all enjoyed the nice breeze and THE SWING!! Plenty of room and places to sleep. We will definitely be returning.
