Quiet, spacious Provincetown retreat

Welcome to the Song of Light, our Provincetown home tucked into a nature preserve. This spacious, light-filled single family home provides a quiet escape. It is a short, 10-min walk into the heart of town. Even closer you will find the East End Market, Mews, Strangers and Saints, Provincetown Theater, and many art galleries.

This is the perfect retreat for a large family or a group of friends eager to enjoy Cape Cod in comfort.

This 2800 square foot home has a well-equipped kitchen and two areas to gather for meals. Relax in the large living room while looking out onto the woods. 3 large bedrooms include a master suite with cathedral ceilings and a private deck, a bright second floor guest room, a large third floor bedroom (with additional daybed).

We want our guests to enjoy all that Provincetown has to offer, including the nightlife. However, we ask that you respect our neighbors and our home by leaving the party on Commercial Street. Please observe quiet hours between 7PM and 7AM.

If you have any questions about the property or would like to make arrangements for extended stays, please send me a request for more information.

Note: we have one camera on the property for security purposes, and it’s located on the front porch.

The house is very clean and comfortable. It is very close to the middle of commercial st. so when you left there it took no time at all to get back by car. If the weather is cooperating the walk would be about 30 mins. We all felt very safe there.

This was the perfect place for five friends to enjoy Provincetown for the first time. Check in instructions were easy, the accommodations were spacious, and it was an easy walk to Commercial Street.

Really great spot for a group of Provincetown vacationers, especially those who have left their party years behind. This area of town is very peaceful and residential. The house has some of the nicest furnishings I've seen in a vacation rental -- this is not a home with a hastily assembled group of IKEA furniture and TJ Maxx art. Comfortable sofa, beds, interconnected Sonos speakers, and cool art. (Also an excellent taste of books in the living room!)Because this house is set a bit farther back in town, would recommend renting a bike if you'll be out and about a lot (especially for going to the beach, tea, or anything on the west end of town). But if you're a Ptown pro, you were probably already planning on a bike rental regardless!

Provincetown Reunion

The house was the perfect place for a reunion of old friends. The location was a short walk to town and the neighborhood was very quiet. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Amazing Spacious Retreat

We loved Kirk and Alexander's beautiful property! It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the trip including a large number of beach towels. Would highly recommend staying at this quiet retreat with friends and/or family!

Excellent Stay!

We had a great week in Provincetown. The house was awesome. It is clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. Plenty of room for a group of 6. Great location and proximity to Commercial Street. We are already discussing coming back next year. One tip - primary suite has a skylight so bring eye mask if sensitive to daylight. You will love your time there! One tip

Perfect peaceful home

We had a fantastic stay here during Ptown family week. The location was perfect for us - far enough away from town for peace, quiet and nature, but still a quick bike ride or walk to the main part of town. It was immediately obvious that hosts care about the house - it has the best-appointed kitchen of any home we’ve stayed in, as well as really nice decor and furnishings throughout. The views of the forest out back and large front porch were favorite moments as well. We’d love to stay here again in the future!

Great property for large group of friends

This property is a fantastic find for enjoying all that Provincetown has to offer. While slightly removed from Commercial Street, its seclusion affords its guests a much needed respite! The property is clean and considerably well appointed. I would recommend to friends and family without reservation.

A Lovely, Spacious Home!

Stayed here with a group of friends and we had a marvelous time! We had so much space to spread out and decompress, but also had plenty of moments where we gathered in the wonderful communal areas. The book collection, fully functional & stocked kitchen, beach towels, and gorgeous porches & balconies were especially appreciated. This was my first full week in Provincetown, and I will absolutely be back after having such a great experience!

Wonderful house with everything we needed

Perfect Ptown house

Lovely Ptown house tucked away in a quiet corner of the town, only a 3 min cycle to everything Ptown has to offer. The hosts communication before and during the reservation was quick and easy; the house was immaculately clean; friendly neighbors; and all the bedrooms well proportioned with a large reception room. Definitely recommended.

Great house in perfect Ptown

I'd highly recommend staying at Alex and Kirk's property in Ptown. It has everything we were looking for, including comfort, charming, and quaint. The locaiton is very good, as its about a 5 min walk from the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street. Several times during the say, my group said "We definitely need to stay here next year"
