Tucked into a quiet, established golf-course community between Conroe and The Woodlands, this private upstairs studio is a peaceful place to land whether you're here for work, a concert, wedding, family visit or simply a few days away.

Settle into a plush king bed, slip into a soft Turkish cotton robe after a shower, put a favorite album on the record player and make yourself at home. Start the morning with coffee and a continental breakfast. Enjoy the deck overlooking the golf course, spend the day exploring The Woodlands, Lake Conroe or historic downtown Conroe, then come back and unwind.

The space:

The studio is completely private and located above the garage of our home, with its own entrance through the garden.

Inside, vaulted ceilings, a skylight and plenty of natural light give the open living and sleeping area an airy, comfortable feel. There's room to relax, work, enjoy a meal or simply put on a favorite record and settle in for the evening.

The studio is most comfortable for 1–2 guests, with a twin rollaway bed available for a third guest when needed. It works especially well for a couple traveling with a child.

Maximum occupancy is 3 guests. The nightly rate includes up to 2 guests, with a $40 per night fee for the third guest.

The deck:

One of my favorite parts of the property is the outdoor space.

Start the morning with breakfast and coffee overlooking the golf course, spend a quiet afternoon reading or stretching with the yoga mat, or come back in the evening for music, a drink and dessert as the neighborhood settles down.

The deck is technically shared with me, but I aim to give guests their privacy and the opportunity to relax and enjoy it on their own.

A little old-school charm:

The record player and vinyl collection are there to be enjoyed. Choose an old favorite, discover something new and slow things down for a while.

Because both the player and albums are delicate, I simply ask that they be handled with care. If you've never used a record player before, directions are provided and I'm always happy to show you how.

A few thoughtful extras:

I love creating the kind of stay I would want when traveling, so you'll usually find a few little extras waiting for you, including coffee and tea, continental breakfast items, chocolates and other small surprises.

Good to know:

The studio is located on the second floor and is accessed by stairs that are a bit steep. Please review the stair photos before booking to make sure they'll be comfortable for you.

The kitchenette is designed for light meals and snacks rather than full-scale cooking.

Families are welcome, but the studio is not equipped with a crib or Pack ’n Play, so guests traveling with an infant should plan to bring their own.

The home sits directly on an active golf course, so an occasional stray golf ball is possible. Please remain aware of golf activity while enjoying the deck and outdoor areas.

Most of all, we want you to settle in, enjoy the space and take advantage of everything the property has to offer. We simply ask that the studio, furnishings and outdoor areas be treated with the same care you would give your own home.
