Welcome to our simple, clean retreat in the heart of a charming micro-resort community. This unpretentious stilt house offers all the essentials for a relaxing coastal getaway without any unnecessary frills or fuss.

## The Space

Our one-bedroom, one-bath home provides a comfortable base for exploring all that Rockport has to offer. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the living room's full-size futon accommodates two additional guests.

The kitchen is equipped with basic necessities for preparing simple meals. After a day at the beach, you'll appreciate having an in-unit washer and dryer to refresh your beach towels and swimwear.

Please note: This is a stilt house with 8 stairs to access the entrance - something to consider if mobility is a concern.

This place is super cute and clean ! Very reasonable price for everything you get. They had a pool, hot tub and a dog park. We went to the beach, saw dolphins, fished and everything was relatively close ! They welcome pets which is nice since we travel with our dog.

The Coconut Hut

Our stay was great. The place was just what we needed. The owner was super super helpful and kind. We had car trouble and had to stay an extra night. The owner took care of us and was understanding throughout the process and it was greatly appreciated especially with two young children and a dog.

Short but Sweet

We had good instructions to get into our bungalow and settle in on our own with access to everything on the property. So close to town so it was easy to go eat dinner and come back to relax on our porch and watch the sun set. So awesome to have a dog park on the property and be extremly pet friendly. Thank you for making our weekend so care free.

Liked the location and the coconut hut was perfect. Beds we’re comfortable. Shower was not meant for us tall guys. We cooked out meals at the hut and picnicked lunch. My only complaint would be the sprinklers. Every morning my drivers side of the truck would be covered in smelly water. Dont drive up in the dark with the windows down either. Dont ask me how I know. Overall a great stay.

The online view does not give a true picture of the old 3 room structure. The furnishings would not make good firewood. The toilet is between the bedroom and kitchen with no door or curtain. Roaches and bugs were very present. Our 2 puppies is why we stayed there. Next time I will pay the hotel pet fee and be closer to civilization.

First appearance

Place looked like a ghetto themed trailer park. I know it’s a thing and have looked at staying in them going to Arizona and such but now I know why the pics for the property are “odd” we pulled on to the property minutes after check in to what I assume is the owner saying VRBO has been trying to call you, we need to cancel your reservation. I look at the phone and yes received an unknown number call 15 min prior while we were driving. Her response was to flippantly pull out 2 phones and say “while I pick up my phone while driving” the reason was due to the storm hitting Sunday , our check out day. As I am typing this the storms path has moved north towards Houston. When asked if we could stay one night she said she would charge us for two and not refund any money if we did. “It would be to hard to figure out”. Luckily we got in to a hotel in a nicer area closer to PA for way cheaper. Saturday was a beautiful beach day for us. Friends booked with another place and they let them stay one night, late check out 4pm and only charged them for the one night. Glad she canceled I guess.

My Rockport runaway

Perfect little cottage for us to come settle into during a beach vacation and to visit my sister. Enough space to invite my folks, but why both just yet? Bed is very comfy, but I crash 1st on the futon. Very peaceful and quiet, my pup and I had no worries being here alone! Contacting Host when I locked myself out was absolutely NO PROBLEM, as Gerilyn is extremely friendly very understanding. Property is kept very clean and well maintained. Many beautiful plants around, as well as a little edible herb garden over alongside the swimming pool entrance! Dog park very large, and all grass is kept cut and seemed to be "poop-free"... which always nice. All rvs, cottages, and busses seem to be well spaced... Pool and hottub were both nice. The pool is above ground, but its big and definitely enough to get nice and cool in! The hottub was just perfect, and worked out just about every muscular complaint I had before I had gotten in it!! Obviously, I really could go on & on about this place, but if I do, you may take up every date left this year! So know this, I CAN'T WAIT!! to go back to this little cottage! All I need to do is everything I am supposed to do at home, until I can get back there... So, do yourself a favor, check it out, but not for too long, because I WILL be back!!

The coconut hut was a nice one room house and bathroom. The pool was pleasant, but chilly. I didn't get a chance to use the hot tub. A perfect place for the dogs. I did see one tick, so be sure to check your pets.
