This cottage is nestled on a fully wooded, half acre lot making it a perfect place for summer night bbq's and bonfires. House offers plenty of parking for your boat/trailer/toys and is 5 mins from South State Park, Marl Lake, Dollar General (for any last minute shopping needs) and the famous Nibbles Ice Cream. Property is within walking distance to Redwood Golf Course and Markey Township Park. Newly remodeled with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a large screen flat TV for movie night.

Another great stay here!

Second time staying here, and we will definitely be back! They were even able to accommodate an extra night which was very nice. It is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood.

Great stay

The home was very clean and my father and I really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great at Randy’s family restaurant down the street. The host made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Higgins Lake Home

Enjoyable stay at this Roscommon County home. Located in a quiet neighborhood outside of town but a short drive for dinner or groceries...etc. The home was spotless and the beds and furniture were very comfortable.

Short stay, but very enjoyable and warm.

This was a great little cabin in a nice community up north. Everything was clean and bright inside. A very warm feel on a cold day. I wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the nice backyard and fire pit.

Great place, location

We (sadly) were only able to stay one night before renting some ORV’s near Lake St Helen. Great location, super clean and owners were very communicative. Comfy mattresses and enjoyed the games in the garage. Quiet neighborhood. We’ll be back again!

Comfy with Extras

Owners were Pleasant and easy to get a hold of for the check in process. Place remodeled nicely. Garge set up has an extension of the home for recreation. Great for fun activities. Nice fire pit in the backyard. Had everything we needed to go to the lake beach.

Great wedding night/getting ready house

My bridal party used this cute house to get ready in and it was absolutely perfect. The giant kitchen island was great for the hair and makeup artists and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and have a great time. Then my husband and maid of honor & her husband stayed the night and it worked great. Nice quiet road and the home is adorable!

Brothers Golf Trip

After a great day of golfing The Quest at Houghton Lake. My three brothers and I had dinner and headed to a relaxing night. After checking in which went smoothly. We found the place very clean and organized! Had to call our host with a few questions which were very helpful. We had a nice bonfire in the backyard. Would definitely stay here again, very nice place that has everything you need!

Very Nice

This home is beautifully updated. We liked that the furniture was not just for small people. My husband and I are overweight, and sometimes I worry that the furniture at VRBO where we stay is a little too fragile for our weight. The host was very accommodating. We were returning to my hometown for my father's funeral, and he let us check in early.

Extremely lovely home

Great blend of nicely done indoor and outdoor space. Very clean and looks exactly like in the pictures. I don't think we could have picked a nicer home in the area, in a very quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Perfect house for a small group

Me and a few buddies were in town to golf the next morning. We didn't want to stay at the resort and pay an arm and a leg. This was a short trip to the course. Comfy couches and bed. Great communication with property owner.

We loved this property.

Everything was wonderful. The house comes with so much and is very close to the beach. We loved sitting in the garage while it rained and play ping pong and darts. The fire pit is a great size and the outdoor furniture is very comfy.
