Dragonfly cottage 1/2 mile to Higgins Lake & 6 miles to snow/orv trail systems

The Dragonfly cottage is a semi-secluded chalet style home only ½ a mile to the South State Park (10-minute walk) or 2-minute drive to the much sought-after Higgins Lake. The cottage is 6.7 miles along roadside to snowmobiling/orv trail system
The cottage offers an open spacious floor plan with all the comforts of home including central air for those hot uncomfortable summer nights. Outside offers a canopy covered BBQ grill, picnic table, fire pit, outdoor chairs, porch bench & large driveway. Some items are not available in late fall thru early spring timeframe. We also offer wifi with a 50" smart tv that you can access Netflix or your other streaming accounts along with a dvd player & surround sound system.
The Dragonfly is conveniently located near hiking & snowmobiling trails, fishing, canoeing, cross-country skiing, local restaurants, stores, gas & much more.
Bring your toys & launch at the South State park or rent any number of items locally.


A couple house rules:
All guests must be accounted for in reservation
No smoking of any kind inside or near open windows.
Dispose of butts in trash
Dog owners must: pick up feces outside, have dog leashed while outside & keep pet off all furniture or an extra cleaning charge upwards of $250 can be charged. Pet owners are responsible for any damages made by pet
Additional $50 pet fee per stay is required
Don’t leave garbage scattered outside
Respect quiet hours 11p.m.-7a.m.
Don’t leave fire in pit unattended & distinguish before retiring for the night
Adjacent pole barn & property is not included in rental
No tenting, campers or rv’s
No hole digging, save it for the beach
No fish cleaning in house
Use bath towels for house bathing only
Additional fee will be charged if bed linens are used from bedroom drawers unauthorized
Wood burning in fireplace is not permitted
Do not take inside items such as furniture, linens, etc outside
Do not use pots & pans on grill
Shed contains additional firewood, chairs & baggo game for your use. Firewood donations is much appreciated

Directions for keyless lock on side door: touch screen for 2 seconds until numbers show, put in code, push open. The door handle doesn't turn, it's just there to pull door shut from outside. When you want to lock from outside: pull door shut, touch screen for 2 seconds until numbers show, put in passcode & touch lock picture button, you will hear it lock.

Departure instructions:
Clean dishes, grill, stroller & high chair or additional cleaning fee of $250 will be charged
Leave used towels & bed sheets on washer or floor
Put all garbage in outside receptacle (garbage pick up is Fri a.m.)
Turn off all lights, close windows, turn off fan & ac, lock door
