We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out was easy. The place was clean and organized. Communication was superb and things were handled immediately. We would most definitely stay again.

Last minute change of plans brought us here. Everything was great. Poolside stay with spacious rooms and updated rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Nice community with a great pool and short walk to the beach.

Perfect get away

Had a great stay and the house had everything we needed and more. The pool right outside the front is a great perk and the proximity to the beach is a bonus! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Property was exactly as shown on VRBO. House was clean and absolutely fit our needs perfectly! Location next to the main pool was so convenient! The secondary pool with the splash pad was perfect for our 1-1/2 year old grandbaby! We would definitely stay here again!

Great for families with children

The stay was great for our family of four with children ages 2 & 5. The pool was literally right outside the door and the beach was a convenient 2 min drive at the most. The condo itself was as advertised and was very clean and comfortable. The location was really perfect. We hope to return in the future!

Pleasant stay

Overall everything was good. The neighbors were a little rambunctious and didn’t listen to the no stereos at the pool policy. But it was Memorial Day weekend. Really you won’t find a better deal in this area for what you get. Only complaint were the sofas were pretty worn and had a musty smell. My guess is kids probably sat there with their wet clothes.

Family Vacation

We had a great time. Loved being able to sit on the patio while the kids played in the pool. All the kids had a great time and made friends at the pool every evening. The only complaint was the directions tell you to turn on Island Village instead of Village Beach so we had a little bit of a hard time arriving late in the evening and trying to find the correct parking and room. All the kids are ready to come back for another stay.

Read the fine print

I wish I had understood that this place had no shampoo, wouldnt have any coffee or spices- or containers or syran wrap/foil. The best thing I can say is its spacious and clean. The bunk beds have thick mattress, more suited to older kids because there is hardly a rail around the top bunk.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lack of “No Smoking” signs was a huge turn off for us. We won’t be returning for this very reason. Think of the kids more than accommodating the smokers. Light bulbs were burned out and flickering in the bedrooms. Shower heads were old and almost useless with how little water they put out. Floors were filthy and turned our socks brown, we had to ask housekeeping to mop. Needs better maintenance.

Close to the beach

It was a nice area and close to everything you need. A few things we did not enjoy, the WiFi was terrible and did not extend through the house, the TV's were hard to figure out, which normally would not matter but it did storm most of the day on one of our days (was not the cause of the terrible WiFi) 2 of the top bunks were not made up, we found black stuff on the ice cubes and found the ice maker dirty. The pool was nice though, and conveniently right outside our place.

We are allergic to pet dander and we chose this “not pet friendly” condo and it was immaculate and the wood floors were nice. The double size bunk beds in the guest bedroom were just perfect for our 6 foot tall grandson. The master bath was a little warm but they provided a small fan for the bathroom and it helped circulate the air.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time using Padre Escapes to stay at Village by the Beach. The house was clean and very accommodating. It had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. From pots, pans, silverware, all the towels and linens. The only thing I would suggest is giving the fridge a deep cleaning. For instance the water and ice dispenser in the fridge was dirty and the fridge had some broken parts. We loved that our unit had a pool view. The customer service person I spoke with was amazing. From filling out the forms to getting the check in code and info....everything was a breeze. We will definitely stay again.

Great for kids

This is a very family friendly rental with great pools and lots of sleeping space. All the required kitchen supplies, nice and quiet washer and dryer, and family friendly eating space. The patio with the fan was a nice cool touch, and having a hose to wash off feet and beach stuff right there was amazing. Lots of beds for kids, although the double beds in the second bedroom weren’t super comfortable for an adult and the twin ladder first step was too high for a young kid. Overall I would highly suggest it for families with kids.
