Casa Lola Downtown Cottage

About this space
1930's restored (in 2020) cottage in historic Lincolnville. Only blocks (5-10 min. walk) from downtown shops and restaurants. Close enough to the hustle and bustle yet nestled in the large oaks of adjacent Lincolnville. Only a few miles or 5-10 min. drive to the beach. Cottage has been completely restored (in 2020) with many upgraded finishes (i.e. 2 old chimneys; original doors; marble shower, wood floors and custom cabinets) including a charming rear patio for kids/pets to play in. Very airy and bright with lots of character .
The space In its heyday was originally a bed and breakfast. It sits on a lot shared alongside the main cottage.
Guest access
Cottage sits on a lot with main cottage. The driveway is exclusively for guest use. The gated rear yard/patio is cozy and reserved for guests. Pets are allowed to roam with their owner throughout the entire yard but can be left to roam unaccompanied in the gated rear patio area.

Casa Lola was just perfect perfect. Comfy beds, lovely shower, great vibes all throughout. Location is so convenient and walkable to the cutest coffee shop right around the corner, and not much further to historic downtown, st Augustine distillery, and many cafes, galleries, and everything you could want. The host is super nice with great communication . We would stay here anytime we were coming to the st Augustine area!

Gosh- where to begin
. Cozy and welcoming cottage within walking distance to town. Tastefully decorated, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Even went to the beach one day and used the provided beach gear. 10/10!

We had a wonderful family stay at casa Lola! John was super helpful and quick to respond! The house was in a great area! It was a nice 10-15 minute walk into downtown area! We would definitely book again when coming back to the area!

The cottage was an adorable quaint place to stay with modern amenities. The proximity to everything downtown St. Augustine was either a short drive and/or a 12 min walk. My husband and I would love to stay here again when we visit.

John was incredibly welcoming and kind, always keeping our comfort in mind. This adorable cottage had everything we needed to feel at home, right down to the eclectic dĂ©cor and furnishings. I loved how they preserved the old charm—original doorknobs and exposed brick—while still giving the home thoughtful updates. It was the perfect spot for my family and pup, and only a six-minute bike ride from downtown! Would stay again!!

The bungalow was awesome. Had everything you would possibly need for mini vacation. Host John was very responsive. Very safe neighborhood to walk my furbabies. I’m looking forward to returning in the future.

Cozy, clean & comfortable. Convenient to the historic district. Parking more than one car is a bit dicey. Some of the shrubbery overhang the parking space, made it difficult to get out of our drivers door. TV reception/connectivity was poor. Overall pleasant.

John was just the best host for our Parents' 60th wedding anniversary trip. He even stopped by to personally check in on them and ensure that they could operate the television and all the amenities, making it clear that he would be available if they needed anything during their stay. The cottage was adorable and well-represented in the listing. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Lola!
