River Rock Cabin - Private Escape - ON the Etowah River!

Located on a private 2-Acre lot that sits directly on the Mighty Etowah River, CarsonCabins brings you our newest "little slice of heaven" for all to enjoy! This unique property sits in the Etowah Valley with 250 feet of river frontage with a private river front deck and swing to relax, fish from, and enjoy! There is a fire-pit and an upper deck with sitting table and brand-new grill.
Inside, is fully renovated 1 beautiful cabin with all new amenities, smart TVs, etc. More pics coming soon!

The cabin has one bedroom with 50-inch smart tv, full washer/dryer, and one full bathroom. The upsatirs level has a full kitchen, bar area to eat, TV area with full couch and futon (for additional 2 guests), and another 50-inch smart TV. There is central HVAC on both levels, and outdoor upper-level porch with dining table, umbrella, and new grill. There is ample parking for several cars. We are close to Dahlonega, Iron Mountain, NGA wineries, NGA University, Montaluce vineyard, etc. and nestled in the most beautiful area of the North Georgia mountains.

The property is amazing and sits on a private 2 acres with 250 feet directly ON THE RIVER with two firepits - all yours to enjoy! There is a 100-Sq foot brand new private deck and swing right to the water's edge where you can fish, relax, laugh and enjoy nature in the most serene of places! ...even catch an occasional kayaker floating down the river :)

River Rock Cabin Spring Break 2025

The cabin and property were spectacular. Very convenient to town but secluded and private. The river was so peaceful. Short drive to the reservoir, hiking, beautiful waterfalls, and other trout streams as well as wineries.

Stayed while doing the Georgia Death Race

This little gem is low key, clean and a safe place to stay. The neighborhood was friendly and driving to and from the race was easy. It’s ideal for 2 low key people that aren’t expecting ritzy. Definitely would come back!

Excellent!

First time visiting the N. Georgia mountains and I recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore wine country and Dahlonega. Close by the city square and tucked away in a quiet area near the River. We all enjoyed our stay, as well as our dog!

Great location. Beautiful river to explore. Plenty of room for my Yorkie and my husband and I. I would stay here again. Needed to find a place to stay while I worked at local schools and this place was in a great location. This place was in an ideal location.

Etowa River Cabin

The cabin was very cute and comfortable. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the cold waters of the river. The kitchen was well stocked and the AC was Ice cold.nThe property was well maintained and plenty of room for exploring.

Great little cabin

The cabin was great! Thoughtfully decorated with all the things that you would need for a relaxing stay. Our dogs enjoyed the property and the decks on the river front were awesome. Great location, close to wineries and other attractions. Quick and professional communication with the owner. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay; it was two nights. The place was equipped with everything necessary—kitchen utensils, blankets, cleaning supplies, and good internet connection. An excellent place to disconnect. Highly recommended.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had the best time at the cabin! It was the perfect size for the two of us. Incredibly cozy with plenty of pillows and blankets. The kitchen had pretty much anything you could think of or need. I loved the welcome mug and coffee and snacks! Such a peaceful location. Can’t wait to come back! 9.5 out of 10

Enjoyed our stay!

Had a wonderful stay, the amenities and property was very accommodating. We also visited several places in the area. We wanted to get away from the city life in Miami, Fl for New Year’s and this was the perfect spot. The river and fire pits were perfect for the cold weather. Hope to return in the near future.

The perfect getaway

We loved the property and everything it had to offer. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding locations for me and my family. Our dog stayed with us at well and he loved the outdoors. The kitchen area is so cute!!! The house has everything you will need (and the host even included snacks and coffee!!)and the perfect location to enjoy Dahlonega and Helen! Amazing stay!

Perfect Place / Everything you Need

Cannot say enough wonderful things about River Rock Cabin. The property is beautiful - right on the river; quiet and relaxing. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything you could think of. The owners left us goodies for our hikes and gift as well. I've been to many VRBO locations, and this by far out ranks any of the others. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning soon.

Perfect!!!

Best VRBO yet!!! Perfect location to forget city life. The accommodations were...well accommodating...it even had little touches of welcome to it like a selection of snacks in the table,clean fire pits with fire starter and a pile of wood by each fire pit. It has everything needed to enjoy what you're paying for. All and all best money I've spent in a while!!!

Nice small cabin for two

Everything was good. Communication and accuracy were great. My only complaint would be that there are roaches. Lots of baby ones crawling in counter and larger ones on floor/wall. Other than that. All was good.

Furbabys vacation

Our lifes been so hectic this year ,we needed time away and our furbaby had not been able to go anywhere this year. Property was amazing, caught trout,bass and crawfish. Home was ready to go when we arrived. Had a campfire each night with chopped wood supplied by owners. Would be nice to have a box fan to circulates air and our border collie is a senior and was not able to climb inside stairs but he could manage the stairs outside leading to the living room and kitchen. Bedroom and bath was downstiars.

What a nice quiet getaway tucked away in the woods. Those stairs inside can be a killer if you have joint problems so beware. There was a notebook on the counter with instructions and wifi password. It said to keep things wiped up to keep pest away, well being from the North I kept dishes done and counter wiped just forgot the flat of cinnamon buns and apple fritters. It was fine the first few days then they mowed the grass when I came back from a family function the counter was black with ants and so were the fritters and buns, ugh,! My time of living in Florida quickly came back to me things got tosses ant spray thankfully was under the sink. Didnt make that mistake again. Everything looked so clean
