Set in the midst of rustling palmettos and Lowcountry wetlands, this first-floor condo will place you within a mile of wonderful shopping, memorable dining, and the soft sands of Folly Beach.

Leave up to two cars in the parking area at Palmettos at Folly and get around easily by bike, with designated bike lanes running along Folly Road both to and from the beach. After a day spent beachcombing or surfing, you'll be greeted back at home by 768 square feet of centrally air-conditioned living space.

The condo's main living area brings together a well-appointed kitchen with a two-person breakfast bar, a living room with a sofa and a flatscreen cable TV, and a spacious, shaded porch accessed through sliding glass doors (in both the living room and one of the bedrooms). It's a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening meals in the warm coastal breeze. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, and two full bathrooms to pair with the two bedrooms.

TV Entertainment is important
Having a BIGGER TV in the living room would make the stay more enjoyable. Not having TVs in the bedrooms was a shock. I had never stayed at a condo/home that didn’t have a TVs in the bedrooms. The hall bathroom electrical outlet didn’t work. Which caused a jam in the master bedroom bathroom. The condo decor was nice and location was good.

Getaway that felt like home
We recently traveled and stayed at this property with 2 toddlers and a baby and it was exactly as it was expected to be, and more ! We requested an early check-in, and they accommodated our request on a Holiday weekend, which is unheard of! Very comfortable, spacious, clean, and it was a stay I would have over and over again. There was a mindfulness to the layout of furniture and the overall accommodations, not just the aesthetics. We were not at a loss for anything we needed while we were there. In fact, we needed additional accommodations for our baby, and they made it happen. It was a safe and comfortable environment, and the location was fantastic. Centrally located to Folly Beach, with only a 5 minute drive to the beach itself, and an easy drive to downtown Charleston. Upon our drive home, we realized some items had been left behind. It was in this moment that as quickly as the panic set in, relief that we were dealing with a reputable company took over. They were quick and prompt to identify the items that had been left, and made arrangements to have them returned to us clear and easy to follow. All 5 stars over here. We will be back to enjoy many more beach trips.

Property needs updating and a thorough cleaning. Kitchen was lacking basic items; pots, pans, measuring cups and spoons. Dishes were melamine and not microwave safe, no microwave safe dishes provided. No hair dryers in unit. Only 2 hangers available. Would not recommend this property at all or Vacasa. I called Vacasa upon check in and never received a call back.

Small condo, very nicely decorated inside, and great location within easy biking distance to Folly Beach. The unit is showing its age a bit and is a little rough around the edges considering the price, especially for outside of the summer season. Free parking and bike storage were nice amenities. The balcony is great but could use some better furniture. There is no outdoor shower for rinsing off sand from the beach—maybe this is not common to the area but it is where we are from. Overall we had a good stay here. With a little kitchen update and some nicer balcony furniture this condo would be fantastic.

Great Getaway
Everything was clean and there were plenty of amenities. There is ample parking and it is easy to get to Folly and downtown Charleston. Vacasa was very willing to assist with any questions about the area and rental itself. Just an overall fantastic experience.

Perfect weekend getaway spot!
This property was perfect for our quick girls trip to Folly Beach! The location was super convenient for catching a quick Uber out for dinner and not far from the beach. The porch was great for relaxing, drinking coffee and catching up. We were also able to catch some beautiful pictures of the sun setting over the marsh, which was an added plus! The beds were super comfortable, making the stay extra comfortable. I’m looking forward to coming back to stay again soon!

We loved our time at 1L in Folly ! The condo has everything you could need - plenty of a space and all the amenities. The space was clean and beautifully decorated. While the inside of the condo is great - the outside porch with a marsh view is the best part!! The porch is very spacious and lots of seating for adults with room to run for kids. The location is great and just a few short minutes to downtown and the beach. Can’t wait for our next stay here!
