Welcome to Pike Creek Cottage! This charming cottage is centrally located to the heart of Wilmington, Kennett Square, Philadelphia, New Jersey and so much more. Nearby attractions include White Clay Creek State Park, Carousel Park & Equestrian Center, Wilmington Riverfront, University of Delaware and fabulous indoor and outdoor dining spots.
Enjoy the spacious outdoors of the cottage in a serene setting. Pike Creek Cottage is family friendly with plenty of space to run around. Inside you'll find welcoming decore, a family room, full kitchen and 2 bedrooms with beds you can melt into after a long day. Whether you are in the area for a wedding, reunion, sports tournament, mountain biking, just traveling through or hitting up some tax free shopping you will be so glad you chose to stay at the Pike Creek Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay! Cottage is extremely clean, well appointed with comfortable beds. Kitchen had what I needed to make a meal for our friends. Host is responsive and thoughtful! We will be back!

This is our 3rd stay with our 2 shelties. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We always appreciate the snacks left for us. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is our favorite place to stay while visiting Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Art Museum.

Beautiful home. Spacious but not too large. Perfect for what we needed for a local wedding. Very clean and organized. Had all the things one could ask for laundry detergent dish detergent and all the like. Exceeded all expectations!

This was our 2nd stay with our shelties. This house is perfect for us when we want to visit Longwood Gardens. It’s also a great location to stay when visiting Winterthur. Great place to stay

Perfect-sized house in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everywhere we needed to be. We both work remotely, and there was plenty of room to spread out and not disturb each other. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal for some family members we were visiting.

Look no further because this is your place full of Nature and tranquility.

I had a wonderful time at the cozy cottage, it was just what I needed during this time. If you want to get away from the same everyday life, this is your place. It’s surrounded by endless nature and tranquility. There was a small issue during my stay, but Brian and Nicki wasted no time to resolve it. If you also like homemade ice cream, there’s a nice farm not too far selling delicious servings. I’m extremely pleased with my stay and hope to go back in the near future.

This was such a lovely little place
everything was very clean and uncluttered and well kept
And I really do appreciate hosts adding the extra little touches to welcome guests
there was a cute little snack basket, a few waters in the fridge and I love a well put together guest book!! We had a great evening and enjoyed our visit to Longwood Gardens

Another perfect stay!

This was our second stay at Pike Creek Cottage while visiting family and friends in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with all the comforts of home. Nicki and Brian keep everything clean and up to date. It's always a pleasure working with them to arrange our trips. I expect we'll be back next Spring as well. When you find your "home away from home" there's no need to look elsewhere : )

Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed here for a Saturday night in January so we would not have to drive two hours home in the dark after visiting Longwood Gardens. The house was super cute and clean (we loved having a garage in which to park our car), the host was responsive to communication, and the check-in/check-out process was easy. If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to book the property again. Thank you Nicki for hosting us!

Cozy and safe!

Really appreciated being able to stay near family for the holidays. We loved the Christmas lights on the tree behind the house too! Lots of blankets were a big plus. Mattresses were a bit firm for us (we love to sink in) and there was no table that the three of us could all sit at (though my son LOVED the barstools). I would have loved a second bathroom (two adults and a kiddo who needs bathtime!), but other than those minor, very niche things for us, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

Holiday weekend

Stayed here over the holidays to visit with family. Was happy to have a pet friendly option. We are used to a fence at home but the yard was great for my pup to run around in. Quiet street in a great location. Host was nice enough to have coffee snacks water and other essentials I hadn't thought about bringing. Would definitely book again if traveling with pets in future.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This property sits on about an acre of land. It is on a quiet road but keeps you close to where you need to be. It is uniquely centrally located to so many wonderful aspects of Delaware. There is a funny saying around here that everything is 20 minutes away and it is so true!
