Situated just a short drive from the stunning Raystown Lake, Allegrippis hiking and biking trails and Juniata College, this property is the perfect base for your next adventure. Since opening in 2022, Sunny Acres has received 5 star reviews from every guest!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the countryside. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and a host of other appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary creativity. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, near to the boat dock which we would have loved had it been warmer! Have been there before and will be back again! Loved spending time with my husband just relaxing in the lovely house and enjoying some downtime

The property boasted many fine features and did not disappoint. Wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy and location near the lake was unbeatable. This is a beautiful vacation home. Very clean and spacious and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. Lovely porch and backyard area with games for the family to play. Easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

Our stay was nice and comfortable. We considering rent this property in the future.If you have an option to bring you own portable grill, do it. The one that property offers, is not a grill it just metal box that does't cook anything.

We loved our stay! Its nice to stay somewhere that doeant juat "accept" pets but welcomes them. The fenced in yard was a huge plus for us! We will be back for sure!

Family Trip to Raystown Lake

Loved this place! Close to the lake, lots of separate rooms for a bit of separation, great outdoor space and everything you could possibly need inside and outside. Would definitely stay again!

Well equipped and clean

Went to Raystown Lake area to visit the nearby University. This rental perfectly suited our needs for the weekend! We had a cleaning issue, but our host quickly addressed the issue. We would stay again if we’re in the area.

Fantastic Lake House

Everything about the stay was great. The house was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and their was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The deck and backyard were very nice too. Dave, the property owner, was extremely helpful and responsive. It's a short walk to the water, and a short drive to the marina/main body lake. The property is also nice and private/quiet. Definitely a great time!

great home for our family with little ones. The home was well—equipped and we didn’t want for anything. It had laundry, dish & bath soaps; spices etc. The owner was very easy to work with. You couldn’t really walk to the lake since it was marshy. We were in close driving distance to Seven Points though. A negative was that we had to pick up the previous renters dog waste & the deck steps were a little tricky for us Wonderful home & yard with views.

Great location Raystown Lake

Just got back from a 4 night stay here. Great location to the lake. My Grandson loves to fish and caught a nice bass down at the cove down the road. Drive to Seven Points marina was quick. Really enjoyed the house which was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen has more than everything you need. Nice deck and yard. Will definitely stay there again if we return to the lake.

Perfect!

This is the perfect place for us, between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, to get together with family. The house is all that's advertised and then some. Very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Kitchen has everything you need to feed the family. We rented a pontoon boat for a day. The next day the younger family members rented jet skis. We checked out some local restaurants and played cards in the evening. We all had a great time, and the dogs enjoyed it too! At Raystown Lake, we wouldn't stay anywhere else but here.

Always a great stay

Great property- comfortable, very well organized and well stocked. Clean and bright. Dave is excellent with communications and support to his guests. Nice fenced yard for the dog. Close to lake, allegrippis trails and Huntingdon, perfect for visiting kids at Juniata. Highly recommended.

A Perfect Getaway

Sunny Acres is a beautiful property. The amenities were great, and we appreciated the attention to detail. Everything was labeled and easy to find. Our dogs loved the backyard. We stayed here for Penn State graduation. It's only about an hour from State College. The weather was terrible, so we plan to come back sometime in the future. There are so many outdoor activities to do near Raystown Lake. Thank you, David and Sunny!

We are your hosts, Dave and my beautiful, sweet pup Sunny! Purchasing Sunny Acres is a long time dream come true. My brother and I were raised in Philadelphia and looked forward to spending our summers with our grandparents who lived along the old Raystown Dam. The rule was we had to wait an hour to run down the path to the river for a daily afternoon of swimming, water skiing, floating in our inner tubes and catching crayfish and minnows. What a way to spend the summer! We also moved here in the mid 60's for a few years which further solidified our connection to the area. As adults, we boated to Nancy's Camp every summer with the family and the next generations have come to love Raystown as well. Even with the creation of the lake and expansion around the area, there's still a feeling of "coming home" every time I drive here. I now have the opportunity to share Sunny Acres with you to create your own memories of the Raystown Lake Region. Sunny and I hope you will come to visit us often!
