Would have liked the check-in email a few days prior telling us they provided beach towels, chairs, and beach toys. It would have saved us a lot of room and packing. We got it about 15 minutes before we could officially check in. Wi-Fi access was pretty bad unless on main floor of house and since we only had 1 bar of cell service we relied on WiFi for calling etc. house itself was very nice. Beach location was great.

The ground floor was great along with the large area to grill and rinse sand off, and closet was very helpful with grills and chairs. The layout of the bedrooms and kitchen/ den was comfortable. The top floor was great for the kids. They loved it. Remotes for tv needed batteries. We enjoyed the porches and the walk to the beach was easy. Our stay was fun. Thank you to Roxanne for the extra help and her willingness to help us. Her referral for shrimp fishermen worked out well for us.

Family vacation 2024

steps from the beach. we had family from WA,KS and GA and we all had a great time. This was our fifth time coming to St George and the second time staying at Big Daddy's Beach House. We would love to come back again some day and stay again.

Big views at Big Daddy's Beach House!

We enjoyed our stay at Big Daddy's Beach House on beautiful St. George Island! The house could not be in a better location, with private beach access and incredible views from 3 floors of balconies. The house is in good shape - the bathrooms could use an update and the mattresses need replacing - but the location and views override those interior concerns. SGI Vacation Properties was easy to work with and we would stay here again.

Great house for our family trip!

We were looking for a home available during our Grandkids spring break and enough room for our family. After one phone call to Roxanne, she immediately working to find the perfect house for our needs. The house was just as promised. This was our first time staying in the plantation and we loved being right on the beach. We will definitely contact Roxanne for our next trip to St George Island for our accommodations.

Great property

Big Daddy's beach house is a wonderful place to stay. This was our second time renting this property. Lots of space and right on the beach. They provided beach towels which was such a convenience. There were also lots of chairs and a pop up tent we could borrow. Nice size kitchen to cook in. Very clean. So much space for everyone. Highly recommend!

Yearly Beach Trip

This house had everything we need for our three families! This was our second time at Big Daddy’s Beach House and we can’t say enough! Hyatt open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of bedrooms for all of us! The house is clean and well kept and Roxanne, the property manager, is just a phone call away and is she is amazing!!! And let’s not forget about the awesome view and basically having the beach steps away and all to ourselves!! Can’t wait for for next year as we have already put in our reservations.

House was good. Property manager has great communication.

The house works great for our 3 families and grandma!. Right on the beach with easy access and beautiful views. Close to the Cut. However when we arrived the AC was not working. The property manager, Roxanne had a new unit in place within 2 days. She responded to any issue and her communication was prompt and accurate. We will definitely go through this company again!

Relaxing, Comfortable, Get away.

Everything went well except for one thing: It seems as though the linens were washed with a sented detergent which caused one of our group mild headaches. One never knows what small thing might set off someones allergies. Overall it went well and we plan to reschedule for next year.

A Great Month!

My wife and I along with another couple (our best friends) stayed at Big Daddy’s for the month of February. We had a great time. We knew we could count on Roxanne to have the place sparkling clean and ready for us. The house was stocked wonderfully and we knew that any property Roxanne was associated with would have all the “extras” that other companies do not provide such as beach towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent and tabs and even laundry detergents. The property was as advertised and caused grandchildren who visited to declare that the loft was “the best room ever”! Another benefit was the elevator. We have stayed on St. George Island for 6 years and have never used the elevators other than moving in and moving out. This year our almost 13 year old Corgi just could not negotiate all the stairs and the elevator was a real lifesaver! I would highly recommend Big Daddy’s Beach House but would recommend any property managed by Roxanne!

One of our favorite homes on St.George Island.

October 2022 was our fourth trip to Big Daddy‘s Beach-house. We absolutely love the convenience to the beach. I love that the kitchen is stocked with foil, baggies, trash bags, cleaning supplies. When you don’t have to bring all these things along when you’re packing for a week away from home, it’s just so convenient and nice We love the beach towels that they provide for each guest. The house is always clean and well maintained. The beds seem to sleep well, as I heard no complaints from our adult children. The storage room outside had a plethora beach chairs, toys and two types of grills to choose from for your convenience. We would recommend this home for anyone who is planning a beach get away with a large family. The elevator is also a plus! Thanks again for sharing this home. It’s beginning to feel like our second home!

Perfect home for beachfront amenities- not a lot of fluff in the home but perfect for enjoying the beach with convenience!

Our family have enjoyed this home two years in a row and have scheduled 2022 as well! The home has everything needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches of St. George! I’m sure there are less than 50 steps to the beautiful water of the gulf. Been vacationing in st Georgia for 20 years, so glad we stumbled upon this gem!

Great house and so impressed with GOSGI

We’ve been coming to SGI since the late 80’s. We have always used RSVP. Took a chance on GO SGI because I had heard such wonderful things about Roxanne. And she is definitely a rock star and goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect!! We loved Big Daddy’s Beach House. Property was great. The extra amenities like beach towels and detergent were a pleasant surprise. The screened in porch and being so close to the beach was fabulous!! We spent lots of quality time on that porch. And the top floor was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space. We will definitely be using GO SGI again.

Fantastic Family Vacation in an Amazing beach house!!!

This was by far one of our favorite trips!! First time visiting St. George Island and we fell in love! We stayed in the Plantation at Big Daddys Beach House and it was perfect! So relaxing, beautiful weather, ocean was perfect, seen dolphins everyday playing in front of our house, found some big shells, and the most beautiful sunrises 🌅 ❤ Our Lil Tucker (mini dachshund) absolutely loved the beach and the ocean. We had 4 generations on this trip, my side and my husband's side too. It was a very special trip and we loved the house, it was perfect 🥰 We will definitely be back again and again and again ❤

Wonderful trip with our family in a great spot on the beach with nice accommodations.

The house had been done to overcome storm damage and was very comfortable and very nicely refurnished. The floors, new paint, ceilings and furnishing were comfortable and enjoyable during the week there. Our family was comfortable and found areas to play games and to visit and have enjoyable social times. The kitchen was well furnished and had enough for us to enjoy cooking and sharing time together in the dining area and screened porch. The unscreened porch accommodated adults for the extra cut of coffee and to watch the ones on the beach. The tall chairs and table enabled a nice view of the dolphins at play and the children/adults who loved the beach time together.

House was Great , beautiful view and plenty bedrooms.

Property was great and well stocked with all the amenities. Being on the beach is a plus for grandparents and grandchildren. Kitchen was very roomy for a large group. The screened porch and open porch were great mornings for coffee and relaxing at sunset. The elevator was great for taking luggage to both floors.

Best Vacay

We had the best time at Big Daddy’s Beach House. Plenty of room for our three families. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was everything. The house is right ion the beach and we had plenty of space to spread out. We will definitely be back next year.

Beach House Is Great

We have stayed at 15-20 properties along the FLA coast, and O SGI Properties management company is the best. Also, this house has a great location on th4e west end in the Plantation, that ocean views and the deck space is excellent, plenty of bedrooms, & bathrooms with two main eating areas for guests.

Excellent accommodations and a favorite place to stay. Would love to have enough ice for the group staying in Big Daddy's.

The house accommodated our family group and it was comfortable and adequate. It is a place of choice for several years that we have stayed at St. George. Roxanne is great to work with and much appreciated. The family has enjoyed the amenities the house offers to be comfortable and "at home" in this house. It would be nice to have the bathroom floor where it would not make a watery situation on the floor and leak onto the downstairs room. The provision of beach towels by Roxanne keep it all workable and dry. there is adequate room for parking and moving in and out while staying off the street. The older teens enjoyed the use of the gym area and were able to be accommodated.
