Newly Remodeled Cabin on the Chattahoochee! Walking Distance to Helen

Welcome to our special cabin on the Chattahoochee! New to VRBO but hosted by 5 star Superhosts on that other site! The property has been in my family for four generations. The house has been completely renovated, everything is brand new except for the beautiful 180 degrees of river views. It is an easy, level, half-mile walk along the river into downtown Helen. Enjoy the many restaurants in town or grill your own dinner on the deck. Bring your own tube and float directly from the front yard. Come relax and enjoy our North Georgia mountain home!

The cabin is a two bedroom/two bath, each bedroom with a queen bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room which is best if traveling with kids. So while we advertise we sleep 6, the cabin does not allow more than 4 adults.

Amazing

Cabin was beautifully remodeled but still maintained its charm. Perfect size for 4 adults. Convenient location to downtown and all attractions. Outdoor space was unbelievable. Wonderful views of the river with fairly easy access to the river. Loved sitting riverside and chatting with the folks tubing by. I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin.

Just what we needed

Very clean, location was close enough to walk to Helens shops and eateries, 180 degree view of water, and secluded enough to enjoy some very peaceful time together.

Peaceful and relaxing

This was a peaceful and relaxing little cabin on the river very clean, felt private, even though you were right near town. We did a little fishing early morning, then watched all the people floating on the tubes as they pass by. Had hotdogs and marshmallows at night while listening to the River. Couldn’t ask for a better trip. Look forward to staying here again.

Nice 2 bdrm on the river. Short walk/jog to Helen. Quiet, pleasant. We are older; cable/satelite TV would be a nice enhancement. Otherwise, all was great!

Our best trip!

A great cabin, clean and well decorated plus restful! Anytime I needed anything they were quick to answer questions! The bonus is its on a running river that was so soothing! I highly recommend this property!

We live in Atlanta and have enjoyed renting our homes on Tybee Island and in Helen for the past couple years. While we don't yet have many reviews on VRBO, rest assured we are experienced Superhosts on that other site. We have enjoyed getting to travel while guests get to experience our favorite places on earth.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property is the best of both worlds- privacy being tucked away with sounds of the rushing river, while close enough to walk to all that the heart of Helen has to offer. Every surface of the cabin has been completely renovated and we are now ready to share the home with you! We enjoy walking to the restaurants and shops, but it is hard to beat the ambiance riverside while grilling out on the porch or sitting around the firepit!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

In the summer you'll see that tubing/ "shooting the hooch" is one of the biggest summer attractions in Helen. You can drive to and pay to tube from one of the two big tubing companies in town, where the bus will pick you up at the end of our road and take you back to your car. HOWEVER, if you bring your own tube, you can tube from the front yard! Float as far down the river as you'd like and either have someone pick you up or walk back to the house- and repeat! Family fun that never gets old!
