Welcome to our cozy log cabin retreat nestled in the woods 🌲. Just down the hill you’ll find a private pond or enjoy the nearby community lake 🚣.

Whether you want to unwind around the cabin or head out to explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park 🏞️, you’ll love this mountain getaway!

Located in the Top of the World Community between Foothills Parkway and the National Park. Popular spots like Look Rock and Gold Mine Trailhead are right in the neighborhood, and we’re just a short drive to the famous Tail of the Dragon (US 129) 🏍️.

The cabin was very clean & easily accessible to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Highly recommend taking in the view from Lookout Rock, which about 5 minute drive or so! Communication with the hostess was outstanding too. Really, you couldn’t ask for more. The WiFi at the cabin was very acceptable & I was able to log into my YouTube TV account to watch TV at night. I definitely would consider staying there again.

Four ladies and a dog! We converged from Alaska, Colorado, Montana and South Carolina for a trip to explore and experience Tennessee. We picked a great place to just be and to travel out and explore from. We hiked a couple trails close to the house. Gold Mine Trail and Look Rock. We took a day trip to Townsend and the Tuckaleechee Caverns. It was an awesome tour and we really enjoyed the people at the Little River Pub and Deli! If you are a quilter stop in and see the Twisted Sisters Quilt Shop and Mountain Creek Quilt Shop in Maryville. The cabin has lots of room, super comfy, and has all you need to cook up meals. The firepit and the hot tub were a great place to sit and reminisce our well grown friendships!

This was one of best experiences I have had with rental stays!! The house was amazing, both gorgeous and cozy, super clean, pretty much every item you'd find at home was available and easy to find as everything was labeled. Communication from the host was top-notch, very speedy replies, including specific information and resources as our stay coincided with a winter weather warning. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

This was the absolute cutest cabin we’ve stayed in yet!! Plenty of room for the 4 of us and our little pup!! We plan to go back, probably for our anniversary. Highly recommend Our side of Heaven to anyone! We were only in town for the weekend for a wedding, wish we had more time to enjoy.

Memories Made

This was such a sweet place to make precious memories with our family. The cabin was absolutely awesome as were the hosts. No schedule was needed and we just went with the moment. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and making smores. Hope to do it again next summer.

Tail of the Dragon

We stayed here for our family trip to the Tail of the Dragon! The cabin is clean and had everything we needed for our stay. You can even get Walmart delivery to the cabin! We loved our stay and plan to stay again! Lisa was very helpful and made everything very pleasant and easy! If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no further!!

Great family time

Perfect place to relax and unwind, deer, fishing, beach, National Park, hiking trails and shopping all close. The only mark we didn’t check off was seeing a bear. Maybe next time! Cabin had everything we needed and more, would definitely recommend and book here again!

Really great location tucked in the mountains. Great access to the Tail of the Dragon as well. Owners are so nice and helpful. Great experience!
