Property Manager and Owner excelled after a bumpy start

Having worked in customer facing jobs for over 40 years I always say it is easy to look good when everything goes right. It’s when something goes wrong that you see the persons true colors. We arrived a day early due to a mix up in the reservation dates in the VBRO app. The unit was occupied and we had no where to go. The property manager offered some solutions that did not work for us. We found another accommodation nearby. The next mor I h as a soon as the unit was vacant and clean we were able to get in. The property manager also checked to make sure everything met our needs after that day. The place was spotless had everything g we needed for the rest of our stay.

Pretty good for a short stay

Cute little condo for a short stay. Having 1.5 bathrooms for a 2 bedroom place was kind of weird. Master bedroom has the half bath and full bath is in the hall, shared by both rooms. But, beds were extremely comfortable and had nice bedding and plush towels in the bathrooms. Most everything you could need in the kitchen other than a toaster, which we could not locate, if there was one. The sofa sleeper couch in the living has definitely seen better days. The cushions are so flat in the front that you actually lean down toward the floor when sitting on it. The condo was reasonably clean upon checkin with a couple exceptions: the TV had loads of fingerprints all over it and the outside deck and deck furniture was full of sand. Not to be picky but the two bathroom sinks didn’t have stoppers in them. Because of this, in the sink in the full bathroom there was a toothpaste cap that had fallen in the drain from a previous guest. But, on the plus side, my group of 3 adults had plenty of hot water for showers taken one after the other. In summary, this was a pretty good place. Small and cozy for a short stay. Location can’t be beat for proximity to the beach.

Convenient and clean

It is a nice place well decorated and has all the dishes and appliances needed. Public beach access is right at the back door has an outdoor shower for when you come off the beach to get the sand off. The balcony was nice only thing is it needs a fan out there but it was nice to have your coffee in the morning and look at the ocean. The WiFi was spotty wouldn’t play Netflix at times. But that is about the only complaint. There is two beach chairs and I bought an umbrella and left it but there’s no telling how long it will last.

Location of property was amazing

Location was amazing, beds were comfy and it was clean. The only complaint I had (Which I doubt they even know) is something was wrong with the stove. We went to use it once and it smoked up the apartment. There was no food stuck to the bottom of it and the food didn’t burn so we’re not sure what caused it. The drive worked great though! We would stay here again.

Exactly As Advertised

The property looked just like the online photos, which is always a plus. It is a cozy condo for 4 people (couple + 2 youth). The pictures do make the bedrooms look bigger. The balcony is small but it is a beautiful view of the beach. This property is very close to lots of food and entertainment. We were a little taken back by the "island smell" of the water as we bought gallons of water for washing our bodies and dishes. Overall, we would stay here again and would absolutely recommend the property to others. The owner/property manager was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Thanks!

Very nice place

Very nice unit, and extremely clean. Everything was as listed and the owner was very quick to respond to a question I had before arriving. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Fantastic Property

Great place to relax on the beach! Property matched description and was nice and clean with all amenities provided. Only minor drawback was that the parking spots at the condo are pretty narrow - it was a tight fit but made it work. Totally recommend this location if travelling to Carolina Beach!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and we loved that we could walk straight to the beach. The owner was awesome and always relied to my messages very quickly. I so appreciated her responsiveness. The instructions she left to get in were clear and easy to understand.

Great getaway

We arrived early in the day and knew our check-in time wouldn't be until later in the afternoon. We rented beach chairs/umbrellas from a local retailer and spent the day on the beach right in front of the condo. Great beach access. Hosts communicated clearly and quickly with us when the unit was available. The unit was clean and perfect for our family of 4, including two teens. There is a great coffee shop/convenience store located close by! We grabbed breakfast sandwiches/burritos and coffee a few days. Great location. Great hosts.
