The pictures on the app are deceiving. The game room is actually in an unattached building. The fireplace in the main living room did not work so we had to move heaters down from the bedrooms. There was no toilet paper. overall probably would not rent this cabin again. We have rented many times in the shaver Lake area and this one was disappointing.

So much potential but terrible experience

Let me first say this cabin had so much potential. Neat cabin, beautiful location, beautiful patio, not the biggest or newest, but great spot nonetheless. If I were the owners, I would fire the management company immediately. Communication was terrible, deceiving and seemed automated. Cabin was filthy, tables were broken, hot Cheetos under the bed, dirty comforter, pieces of fake eyelashes on the pillow, just overall filthy. Also very very minimal supplies so be prepared to pack or buy everything. RENTERS BEWARE!!

A HUGE LET DOWN. Misleading photos. Disappointing and DIRTY.

If our home wasn’t 3 hours away we would’ve left the first night. This is one of the few homes in the area with a hot tub and was the main reason for staying here. Upon arriving we were greeted with a dingy, dusty, unkept, allergy inducing home. It was a disappointment. We immediately noticed the ceiling fans covered in a thick layer of built up dust
 the coffee table was sticky and clearly not wiped down prior.. the rooms seemed great but as you looked closer the walls were covered in cobwebs- also covered with dust. We opened the closet to put away our belongings and were greeted with dirty stained pillows. When checking out the patio area it was covered in leaves and cleary not blown clean. NOTHING like the photos. I’m glad I flipped the hot tub lid because although someone had turned it on, it was green, with a layer of dirt on the seats. Not sure what the smell was but it wasn’t clean. The hot tub was not serviced prior to arrival. When we started to cook dinner 
 the utensils and cookware were grimey. We washed everything prior to use. To top it off when we went to turn on the heater it wasn’t working. Thankfully they have plug in heaters that got us through the night. The game room was equally as dirty. The floor had mud prints and bottle caps thrown on the floor. There is no way this place was professionally cleaned prior and it’s an insult that we had to pay a cleaning fee. It’s unfortunate that I can’t post photos of what this home REALLY looks like.

Cozy and comfortable

From reading previous reviews, the home was bigger than expected. It was roomy for us 8! It was very open concept with surrounding neighbors but not in a bad way. There was plenty of space between each home. Which I loved. It was peaceful and relaxing. To be surrounded by all the trees and birds singing. It was a reset for sure. You can literally enjoy a nature walk in the community and not have to leave on a hike. Bring fans if you get on the warm side. There is plenty of linens. Easy getting in we would stay again!

This place was fantastic. The hot tub was the best part after a big snow the sunset view was incredible. Only knocked for cleaning and there wasn’t a key to the game room and it took Vacasa a day to get one. Issue only with Vacasa communication.

A little dated/ dusty/ small

We enjoyed the game room and spa. The house is smaller than pictured, but that was fine. The dining table fit the younger kids, but did not accommodate adults. The house was a little quirky with odd spaces, like the loft space. The light did not work in there, so the kids weren’t able to enjoy the space. The ceiling fans in all the rooms have a layer of dust, and the rooms had spider webs on the walls. We had 10 people stay at the house, which means a lot of trash, recycle, etc. There is no place to throw overflow of trash. We had to put excess garbage in laundry area because we didn’t want to leave outside overnight for critters to get to. Both air mattresses in the couches deflated every night. Overall, the house was fine because it did have basic necessities, but for the price we paid, we would’ve liked it to be a little more clean and space friendly.

Beautiful location, lots of amenities!

My husband and I recently spent four nights here with our two dogs. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. There's a lovely deck area surrounded by trees. The hot tub was great and a nice size. It would fit four easily. The detached game room has a full-size pool table, fooz ball table and literally hundreds of options for classic video games. I hadn't played frogger or ms pac man in ages! So fun! The interior of the home was clean and the kitchen was stocked with enough plates/pans/etc for making our own meals. It's exactly what you would expect from a rental that welcomes dogs and kids. It's a very homey and comfortable space. The cabin has a large TV in the main room with lots of streaming options. There's a smaller TV in the master bedroom, which also has a large balcony - perfect for a peaceful moment or cup of coffee in the morning. At the end of the road from the cabin, less than a 3 minute walk, there is a picturesque overlook, which is a nice place to watch the sunset. If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can hike down into the ravine. It's not as steep or challenging as it looks. The cabin is located in a private, gated community less than 5 minutes from the little town of Shaver Lake (I highly recommend the pizza place!). Shaver Lake, itself, is just a short drive from there.

Horrible experience - run, don't walk

Received word from Vacasa property was clean and eligible for early check-in. Arrived to find unit filthy, trashed (including broken window), garbage inside and out. After notifying Vacasa was told noone was available to clean. Asked for another unit - was advised nothing was available. We notified Vacasa we would not be staying and would expect a full refund - no response. We left and sent multiple texts and called Vacasa to notify them we were not staying and expected a refund. Vacasa advised us we are only elible for a refund of the cleaning fee. HORRIBLE service - I will never use Vacasa again.

Family and Dog Friendly Cabin!

We were able to enjoy the cabin with our friends and this dogs. New spa which was very relaxing. The kids enjoyed the snow right outside the cabin! Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this cabin. The layout was both spacious and cozy with lots of lounge room in the living room enjoyed by family. We so enjoyed the deck off the master to be able to keep an eye on the kids and enjoy the view. The location was perfect and lots of room just outside of the cabin to enjoy the outdoors with a beautiful lookout very close by. The deck is spacious and having the hot tub was such a bonus to enjoy sunset. The game room is such a nice added touch for the littles in the family to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was nice. It’s in a gated community within a 5 minute walk to a sunset look off. I’d say it was comfortable for about 6 people. Sadly, our stay here had negative lasting affects. The issue was the hot tub that caused everyone that used it to have rashes. Unfortunately the rashes were so bad that we needed to see doctors. After reporting this incident to Vacasa multiple times, I haven’t heard much back expect for them finding it puzzling how that may happen since they hire a cleaning service and the hot tub is apparently “new”. After photographic evidence was provided and doctors notes offered, Vacasa seems to still be investigating. I hope no other costumer needs to suffer due to the lack of cleaning. I would not recommend this place unless you want a rash from the hot tub especially after paying a substantial amount of cleaning fees for the stay.

Perfection!!

Second time staying at this location. Summertime is great, but winter with the snow is even better! No need to go anywhere, everything you need is onsite including a fantastic jacuzzi and plenty of room to play in the snow! Well stocked kitchen, cozy gas fireplace and 3 nicely furnished bedrooms and a play loft space. Highly recommend you book this place for your next adventure with family or friends!
