Cette maison de ranch bien construite se trouve sur 2. 5 beaux acres boisés et privés. L'intérieur de la maison est principalement en bois magnifiquement conçu. Il y a deux chambres et aussi 2 grandes chambres! Deux chambres de 25x25 pi avec plafonds cathédrale et beaucoup d'espace ouvert. Dans l'une des grandes chambres, il y a une porte pour l'intimité et un canapé-lit queen-size. Dans la grande salle principale, il y a un lit de jour double sous une fenêtre. 2019 nouvelle salle de bain! Cette maison se trouve avec les plus belles vues sur les eaux de Green Bay. Exposés directement à l'ouest, les couchers de soleil les plus incroyables sont juste devant votre porte et peuvent être vus depuis la chambre principale, la salle à manger et 2 grandes chambres.
Chaque année, nous aimons surprendre nos clients de retour avec quelque chose de nouveau. Plus récemment, la moquette a été enlevée pour exposer de magnifiques planchers en érable, une laveuse et une sécheuse, de nouveaux terrasses, de nouveaux meubles, un nouveau toit et bien plus encore!
Il y a une grande véranda avec une table à manger et un grand canapé. Il y a une terrasse en plein air spacieuse qui fait face à l'eau attachée à la maison. Il y a une autre grande terrasse à mi-chemin jusqu'à l'eau, idéale pour manger en plein air. Ensuite, il y a un 3ème pont au bord de l'eau, parfait pour regarder les couchers de soleil incroyables. Il y a aussi des marches pour accéder à l'eau de ce pont.
Cette maison se trouve sur une colline vallonnée remplie d'herbe qui vous mène aux 280 pieds de front de mer privé. Cette plage se compose de petits et grands rochers. Idéal pour la baignade car il y a une belle roche de plateau pour marcher dans l'eau. Il y a aussi une belle dépose d'env. 50 pieds, idéal pour la pêche, la plongée ou la plongée en apnée.
Vous verrez des bateaux de pêche à distance car c'est une zone populaire pour le saumon ... vous pouvez les voir, mais ils auraient du mal à vous voir. Cette maison est dans un cadre privé avec beaucoup d'arbres matures.

Second time staying here and really love all it has to offer but was super hot so we missed the AC this year . Tried to keep it cool with closed drapes and fans but humidity was brutal. Small dehumidifier required emptying 2-3 x a day. Box fans could do with a good scrub and rinse down.

This place was so great. The view alone was worth it, but we walked down along the waterfront got our feet wet, flipped rocks searching for creatures. The sunsets were gorgeous and we made it a point to take the time to enjoy them each night. It was abut cool when we visited the island (50s and 60s in June), but even so we loved the different beaches, the harbors, and just enjoying the nature (including the preserve). The house itself was also like a museum, featuring a lot of interesting artifacts. The whole family found so many interesting things to take pictures of. TLDR; This place was great.

Really great cottage! Cozy setting, fun vintage vibe, clean, and well-appointed. The bathroom is really nice and very clean. The queen bed is very comfortable. Great place to stargaze. We really enjoyed the beach and the quiet setting. Would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful spot!

This property is directly on the water and is such a peaceful and comfortable spot to stay. We enjoyed the views of the lake, lounging by the water to watch the sunset, and gathering around a fire in the firepit. The house was also a comfortable place to lounge and relax when we had a rainy day.

Wonderful honeymoon spot!

This was a beautiful place on Washington Island. With lakeside views, a firepit, comfortable furniture, supplied kitchen, etc, it was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend our honeymoon. The property manager made the experience so easy with little to no stress. Definitely will be returning!

Beautiful cottage on the lake

This is a wonderful cottage with terrific lake front access for kayaking, swimming and lounging by the waterfront. Very thoughtfully and thoroughly appointed kitchen and lovely bathroom. Owner was very responsive with communication requests.

Backyard is amazing

The backyard on the water makes the trip, gorgeous! We had a great time! House is super cute rustic cabin vibes:) Some days it gets a tad hot without air but by the time you go to bed it’s good.

I am a real estate Broker on Washington Island. I work with people on renting and also purchasing homes on the Island. I am from Elmhurst, Illinois and have now lived on the Island full time for 26 years! I have always said, I know I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to live and raise a family on this beautiful Island!
This home was built in 1951 by my grandfather, and has been in my family ever since.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

My grandpa built this home and at the time he could have chose any place on the Island as there was lots of open space. He liked the high property (to avoid any chance of flooding) yet easy water access. Deep water frontage so he could launch his boat. Convenient location, 10 minutes to town, less than 5 minutes to the Ferry. Peaceful neighborhood with beautiful mature trees. Of course the number one reason, the amazing sunsets year round!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Privacy, able to swim with no one else around. Dinner outside, sitting on the deck watching the sunset. Great for family reunions as there is so much 'living' space. Never feel crowded.
