Open floor plan, ultimate set up for large family or events. Wake up with nature. 7 miles to Crosslake boat dock on the chain. Located on Upper /Lower Mission. Great for water sports, fishing , home has its own dock. Great Lake location to enjoy the Brainerd Lakes area. Lots of room to spread out, have fun and enjoy the great outdoors. This property has it all. This property can be used for family reunions or gatherings with owner approval, and additional cost. This house is set up to entertain - you will truly know the meaning of lake house living. Lots of parking and boat parking. Rv hook up for additional fee. So many things to do. Wonderful property with spacious indoor and outdoor options for our multi generational family vacation. The lake was quiet allowing lots of time for relaxing and boating. This property provides lots of privacy and the yard is perfect for any outdoor yard games.

All there, but....

When we booked this VRBO it was for a family outing for my brothers engagement. There were 12 of us in total. Sadly the one issue we ran into was what is listed for 'sleeping' is not accurate. In total the house had a total of 8 beds. Even if all people that attended our weekend were couples, I would not say this could have accomidated more than 10 people. Only two of the beds were big enough that I would consider the bed to bed able to sleep more than two adults. Secondly, there are extra buildings on site thar are locked which I wish was available as part of the rental. Lastly, we ran into an issue when we stayed. There was heavy rain which caused some damage in the basement area of the rental, the floors/rugs felt damp and a part of the cieling downstairs was falling in. The owner was contacted and the issue was verbally addressed and stated it would be fixed. Overall, this was a great booking and we truly enjoyed our stay. I did want to mention the things above so future people that book are aware of them. I do recommend this VRBO.

Gorgeous property

This house sits on a beautiful property touching both Upper Mission and Lower Mission Lakes. The property and the lakes are both peaceful even during the July 4th holiday. The house has bedrooms spread out so people can get their own space.

Big, warm & welcoming home.

Last minute decision to get family together over the Labor Day holiday when I found this beautiful home large enough to fit us all. Plus was they allow our furry family members to be with us. Can’t say enough how fun the home & property are.

Beautiful home on the lake with private setting!

We absolutely loved this rental. The home was beautiful and had room for all of our family and guests. Located on Upper/Lower Mission Lake, MN which made it perfect for enjoying a tiki pontoon cruise. The home was inviting and equipped with everything you need. The commercial oven/stove was fantastic! Property host was extremely friendly and helpful. Even allowed an early check-in. 5⭐

Weekend on the lake

We had a great stay at this property. It was large enough to comfortably fit our group of 10 adults and two infants. The lake was very clear and great for swimming and floating. Definitely recommend!

Secluded Lake Getaway Perfect for Families

The size and accommodations between the house and outdoor property made this a great stay for everyone to enjoy time together or off on their own. The owner was wonderful to work with from start to finish. We would stay here again.

Friends golf and fishing trip.

Had a group of 8 stay here for the weekend. Fantastic place to hangout and stay. Great amenities, tons of space outside and inside. Highly recommended for big groups.

Such a great getaway!

We stayed the weekend at this beautiful house! Age ranging from 10months - 75 years old. The house was very clean and accommodated our large group! Everyone had their own space and never felt crammed. Plenty of outdoor activities for the kids and the adults! The host was very communicative and made the stay so enjoyable! I would 100% recommend this place to ANYONE looking for a weekend getaway in the quiet or family gathering!

A Great way to close out summer.

Thanks Shirley, our stay was fantastic. Plenty of room, really clean and no shortage of fun. The kitchen stove is amazing. It was pretty well stocked with all the stuff you need. We had family in for a day, there were 20 of us. (yes, it was nice when they left at the end of the day). We were all able to sit on the deck and had a great time. The young kids started fishing when they arrived and didn’t stop. Really fun to see. The grounds are beautiful. Take a walk and explore. So worth it. Wish there was a better swimming area but that didn’t stop us from hanging on the docks and beach. The canoe was a nice feature. All in all memories were made and it makes me smile.

Very nice property with a few caveats

The house is very well equipped and beautiful. The owner was super responsive, providing everything we needed at a moments notice. The kids had a great time with a lot of space to play and run around outside. Super well equipped kitchen. There were a few issues, however, which made me feel the house is a bit overpriced. The bedroom with the queen and the twin beds has glass sliding doors that open to the dining room/main room, making it hard to use for families that go to bed at different times to sleep there. We couldn't use it. Another bedroom has no AC. The two bedrooms in the basement are very cold, dark and musty. There is only one canoe. Hard to really use the lake unless you rent something or bring your own water toys. There is no beach nor really entry area because it's been overtaken by grass and reeds. This jammed up the motor of the boat we rented every time we docked. No smart TVs/streaming devices. I Don't expect owners to provide services but at least allow us to log in to our own accounts.

An Amazing week of peace & enjoyment

The house & amenities were everything that we expected and more. Our group stayed local to the area due to Heartland Hockey camp. The house & property (27-acres) provided something to every person: - The worker bee: Those who had to work a full schedule or partial schedule...Yes; the internet was super fast & reliable and there was plenty of space to find quiet for a WebEx session or phone call - The reader: Those who wanted the comfort of a soft couch & a compelling journey through the pages of a good book - The fisherman: Those who wanted to catch bass from the dock, bringing smiles to faces of children ages 3 to 14, and providing a nice dinner - The boater: Those who needed an escape to the water to paddle around the bends of the channel to sounds of birds & frogs with jumping fish - The S'mores lover: Those who enjoyed the warmth from a fire pit and roasting of marshmallows - The Explorer: Those who wanted a walk through the woods or around the property in pursuit of wildlife or flowers or interesting sounds - The Snoozer: Those who want to lay on the hammock to pass the day without any cares in the world while getting a timely nap Our group loved the peace & tranquility of the experience, under the watch care of an engaged & helpful host. We highly recommend the home/property & the host. We will be back again, as the experience is rich & deep & fulfilling...

Extended Family Get away

We had a great time, a lot of boating time. Nice dock and big yard for kids and yard games. I couple minor hiccups but Shirley made herself available for any questions. Wish is was a little closer to towns but the location was quiet and peaceful. There really isn’t a beach but the lake is really clean and has some nice shallow areas for floating etc. Some good family memories made.

Family lake house

We had an amazing time at this lake house. The layout was open and had plenty of room for our family to enjoy our time together. Lots of mosquitoes so we couldn’t grill outside like we wanted but made use of the stove inside. Plenty of room to park both our boats and other cars—lots of lakes nearby with boat launches so we were able to explore not only mission lake but other lakes as well.

Great Property

Thank you for having an awesome property! The layout of rooms worked great for 12 adults. Everyone had their space. Everything was clean and amenities worked great. Very open home and we all enjoyed very much. CoffeeBar was a fun touch and the commercial stove was cool too!

Kids can play outdoors, volleyball, swing set, or see the lighten bugs at night. You can hear the Loon's at night, see Bald Eagles land, and experience the Deer grazing. You want to experience what the ultimate lake life is all about, this is the best place to make memories. Boat on the lake during the day, and prepare amazing meals at night in the Chef's kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of nature, and taken in what it's like to take nature walks right in the backyard. Bonfires, and lake vacations at it's best. Bring the boat, snowmobiles, fish houses plenty of parking with no issues.
