The home is in Historic Springfield, a vibrant, up-and-coming neighborhood known for its beautiful old homes, murals, and local arts community. Some houses nearby are still under renovation, and you may see construction activity. đŸŸWe welcome up to 2 small dogs or 2 cats (added to the reservation).
⚠ For insurance reasons, certain breeds (German Shepherd, Pit Bull, Akita, Stafford Terrier, Doberman, Great Dane, Rottweiler) cannot be accommodated.
Pets must be house-trained.
Crates required if left unattended.
Guests are responsible for any pet-related damages.
🏡Our street is generally quiet, but the house is across from a school, so expect some activity during drop-off and pick-up hours. Both Neighbors are local artists very friendly.

This is a beautiful place in a very cool historic district. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable and it has great water pressure Jose Cuervo lives next-door, which is kind of cool.

The home was beyond what we were expecting as were the host's. We rented the home until our home was completed in the same neighborhood. Only can say great things and for those who cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I cannot endorse this rental more or the owners.
Our Baby Klaus loved the home equally and felt welcomed.

The house was in a perfect location to anything in the city and also had easy access to roads to the beaches. The street was very quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Great little bungalow for a girls trip.

Easy access to the highways to get to the beach or other places in Jacksonville. Has plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. Love the coffee nook!

The Porch House!!

The porch house was a wonderful place to stay. Not only was it immaculate, it was stocked with everything we needed. The Host were extremely accommodating and available if you needed them. I cannot think of a better place to stay, not just in Jacksonville, but all of Florida.

A weekend in Jax

I stayed here during a work trip with some coworkers and it was a very peaceful stay. Enough room to accommodate and still have privacy. I will definitely try to book again on my next work trip but honestly considering a vacation with the family.

A Christmas Birthday

Our daughter attends USF and our son lives in Savannah. We got together this weekend to celebrate her birthday and an early Christmas. The location was excellent and near Main St in Springfield and close to the Stadium and downtown. The hosts were excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Jacksonville weekend

My family and I stayed at the Porch house for a weekend and it was awesome!! Michaela was a wonderful host and responded immediately. The house is so cute and in a cool neighborhood. It's comfortable, homey and has everything you need including an espresso maker. There are several restaurants in walking distance and it's very close to the stadium. We all loved the house and had fun in Jacksonville. We'd stay there again when we come back in town.

Wonderful stay

I’m a veteran of Vrbo and other short term rental properties and this is one of my favorites. The house is comfortable and very well stocked. I was a bit apprehensive about the neighborhood since it is older and near downtown and especially as I was alone most of the six weeks. The neighbors are great and there are a number of businesses including restaurants, post office and a bank in walking distance. The hosts are amazing and went above and beyond. I strongly recommend this historic Springfield porch home.

Adorable home, great kitchen and bathroom.

My husband and I brought our 2 small doggies this adorable home to explore the Jacksonville area, and get away from the gloomy weather in Maryland. We very much enjoyed the home and fenced front and backyard. It is very clean and lots of counter space and storage in both the main bathroom and kitchen. I enjoyed the spices the owner left along with the expresso machine and all the dishes, pots and pans that you need to cook a gourmet meal! The location was very close to downtown-there are some abandoned homes nearby, which the owners noted in their description, but also lots of the good parts of the city such as wonderful restaurants. The Bake Shop is a real find for amazing pastries and sandwiches.

Great House

The house was very comfortable and clean. It was a great location and convenient to restaurants etc. It was tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. The host was very responsive. The only thing that could improve would be is to have some baggies, plastic wrap foil and trash bags paper towels available and lighter for grill or room candles. Most rentals have a plastic sleeve or binder that includes things to do in the area. Also tells guests when the trash cans need to be put out for garbage pickup and general info about where extra towels, laundry detergent etc are located and what they want the guest to do before checking out.The checkout time at 11am was great compared to most rentals at 10am. Would definitely stay here again when in the area! We had an absolutely great experience at The Porch House in iJacksonville Fl

Beautiful home, quiet stay

This beautiful remodeled historic home was perfect for our weekend plans. I chose it specifically for three reasons: 1: dog friendly, 2: fenced property, 3: king sized bed! It’s a stand alone home, and you’ll have the whole house to yourself. The home is beautifully decorated and so clean! My very particular partner had nothing negative to say lol! Lots of space and no shortage of bathrooms to choose from either! There are many delicious restaurants very close by as well. Uptown has incredible breakfast and Hawkers isn’t far either, amazing dinner there! The neighborhood itself is up and coming, lots of historic, restored homes and a quaint downtown Historic Springfield area. I would be failing if I didn’t mention it’s also about a mile from the Jags stadium. GO SEAHAWKS!

We admire the urban core and decided to invest in historic Springfield.

Our historic bungalow was originally built in 1908 and although it was fully remodeled it still kept its southern charm with its front porch. 3bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms will make the stay convenient and comfortable for families or traveling professionals. It has fenced back yard and we are pet friendly.
