Quiet, just added fire pit seating area and steps to recently cleaned small beach area(.Unfortunately the beach comes and goes as the Lake level increases or decreases. This amenity has been under water all summer of 2024). Private deck over looking LKN. Nestled in the tree canopy just steps to dock with Jet Ski parking and boat tie up. Full Kitchen with counter/bar, living room, private shower and bathroom. 2 minutes by boat to main channel. Upgraded Washer/Dryer

Azalea was lovely inside. Well appointed & welcoming. The view was awesome! We loved the view from the deck & down by the fireplace. Perfect spots to relax including families of deer. We've already recommended this spot to friends.

Absolutely perfect! The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed! We loved the lake view and how convenient it was to grocery stores and Costco. We shopped and cooked each meal on site. We can’t wait to come back again.

VRBO was nice, only thing I would change is using less of the Fabuloso for your cleaning. People who are sensitive to smells will think it is very overpowering.

Amazing Azalea

After 5 days of nothing in Black Mountain and after the wrath of Helene, my family escaped to this little cottage on Lake Norman. My 7 year old boy, Breccan’ couldn't stop running and jumping off the dock. The cottage is perfect for 3-4 people. Great great neighborhood. Excellent food in the area! And we grilled a few time on the porch. Highly recommended!

Perfect cottage

We stayed in the Azalea Cottage for a baseball tournament. The team stayed in the same neighborhood just down the street. The cottage is very cozy. We were very happy with our stay here!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

We loved the location and easy access to the lake and surrounding areas. Having use of kayaks was our favorite part. The cottage had everything we needed, and John was an excellent host!

Perfect Location! 💚

We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area.

Fantastic

We travel south a lot. For 20 years my wife has mentioned going to Lake Norman every time we pass by. I planned a surprise trip for our anniversary and John was fantastic to accommodate. Everything was just as described and this location is absolutely perfect for a two person get away. We will definitely be coming back for future stays.
