Prouts Neck, Ă©tapes Ă  la plage

Notre magnifique chalet d'été a été dans la famille depuis 1937. Nous sommes sur une jolie ruelle qui se termine morts à la plage. La plage de Prouts Neck est l'un des plus privée et belle dans le monde. Notre maison est trÚs confortable pour les parents et les enfants ou grands-parents et de la famille en raison d'avoir 5 chambres, 4 sont à l'étage, ainsi que deux salles de bains, et une chambre avec salle de bain attenante est en bas. Toutes sont rénovées. Moderne mais ancienne cuisine de style ancien. Le meilleur des deux mondes !! Lave-linge sont nouvelle.
Nos sols sont peints d'un bleu attrayant et nous avons de nouvelles fenĂȘtres et Ă©crans. Nous ne disposons pas besoin ou A / C. Ceci est du Maine, de l'eau !! Nous avons des radiateurs Ă©lectriques encastrĂ©s dans la moitiĂ© des chambres et un radiateur plus grand dans le salon. Il ya plusieurs tĂ©lĂ©viseurs. Nous avons une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Des tonnes de nouveaux et anciens livres dans la salle Ă  manger / bibliothĂšque.

Nous sommes à 2 heures de route de Boston. Il ya un aéroport à Portland. Nous sommes à environ 15 minutes à Portland et les restaurants et les boutiques de la rue change fabuleuses. Je ne peux pas vous dire combien il est merveilleux de rester à 'Prouts'. Nous allons souvent à Freeport pour faire du shopping à L. L. Bean et tous les autres grands magasins, puis rentrent à la maison et a frappé la plage de retrouver notre force. L'agitation de Old Orchard Beach, et le théùtre de summerstock à Ogunquit sont merveilleux plaisir. Nous aimons aussi aller à Kennebunkport, à la galerie hop.

Nous ne communiquerons pas avec vous de voir si vous souhaitez re-louer. S'il vous plaĂźt faire des premiers arrangements, (nous aimons les visiteurs de retour), pour «protĂ©ger» votre «semaine (s). Nous remplissons souvent pour la prochaine annĂ©e; peu de temps aprĂšs la fĂȘte du travail. Vous avez Ă©tĂ© averti!

It was amazing! 4 houses from a private ocean beach. House had plenty of bedrooms for our family of seven! And a typical New England beachfront cottage vibe, you could feel the history in the walls, weather and used. Three bathroom and so close to amenities. We will be back.

Coastal Calm!

We loved the house. It was very clean, cozy, and plenty of room for our group of 7 to spread out. The neighborhood is very quiet and private, and you essentially have access to your own private beach (3 min walk). We enjoyed our daily walks, bikes, and runs around Prouts Neck! Mike was great to communicate with.

Five stars for the location on a flower lined dead-end street with quick access to a pristine and very private beach. Five stars for attention to details. Host efficiently answered my many questions. The house was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed and more. Last, it is not only a people friendly neighborhood but a dog friendly one too. Can’t imagine a more beautiful dog park than Prouts Neck Beach. We loved watching dogs swimming in the sea. The Merrill house is a keeper!

Beautiful house close to the beach

Perfect location a short walk away from Scarborough beach. Ferry beach as well as the cliff walk around Prouts Neck are also within a 15 min walk. The house is very comfortable with lots of games and puzzles for rainy days. One bedroom with its own bathroom is on the ground floor which was great for my mom (85). At one point we had 9 people and it didn’t feel crowded. Plenty of beach towels and linens. The outdoor shower was also great to get the younger kids showered as soon as we came back from the beach. Highly recommend especially for extended families. The AC was a bonus for our one hot night.

A break from it all

We completely enjoyed our stay on Prouts Neck. This house is old fashioned in all the best ways. Perfectly sleeping quarters for our crew, wonderful, simple kitchen, bright, airy living room, and just the right outdoor space. The walk to the beach is short, and the beach itself is perfect. It was a perfect home away from home for the week.

Perfect Beach House

This beautiful home was even bigger than in the photos. It was an easy walk to the gorgeous beach. The waves were perfect for boogie boarding. The house fit the 8 of us very comfortably. We were able to enjoy meals together at the large dining table and the living room fit all of us with room to spare. We enjoyed the shops in Freeport as well as mini golf and SplashTown FunTown. Our only complaint is that we had to leave to come home. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Perfect location and great house

We loved our time in Prouts on Garrison Lane. The house has lots of rooms and great beach charm. We were traveling with two children under 2.5 and the location of the stairs made it easy to contain them downstairs, which is always a plus. The house is just a quick walk to a beautiful beach and a short drive to a lot of great restaurants in the area. We hope to return soon!

Maine Magic

Our home away from home was charming, cozy, supplied with all that we needed, and wonderfully close to the beach! The best ice cream ever was a short distance away, and the beach was almost our very own! Each one of us wished we could have stayed longer, but have definite plans of returning!! Perfect Beach Week at Green Haven

Green Haven is a classic Maine summer place. Very comfortable for a family of all ages and wonderfully relaxing location. Cliff Walk for sunrise is amazing! The house is well equipped for both fun at the beach and great family meals.

Quintessential Maine house by the ocean

A wonderful comfy house just steps from the ocean that was perfect for our family getaway. The hosts were excellent to deal with and the house was in great shape compared to other experiences we've had. A twenty minute drive to Portland for great food.

Favorite Summer Memories!

This was our third year staying at this Prouts Neck home. It has become a highlight of our summer and a favorite family tradition. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well-situated close to the beach. You can tell that the owners take great pride in the home and that they enjoy sharing this gem with guests. The house is immaculate upon arrival with extra touches such as provided soap and toilet paper. Even beach chairs and beach towels are available for use! The beds are extremely comfortable and the house easily sleeps our family of 10. While we were there this year, it was extremely hot. However, it is comfortable to sleep at night with the windows open and the ample provided fans. The kitchen is very neat, practical and modern. I love the convenience of the washer and dryer right in the kitchen. The bathrooms are modern and clean with great showers. Nothing can top the amazing beach (only a 5 minute walk from the house!) and the cliff walk. The beach is calm, quiet and peaceful. A true get-away! Yet, many attractions are close by, if you want to venture out by car to restaurants, shops and activities. We already look forward to returning next summer!

This great beach home has been in our family since 1937 and has been lovingly maintained and modernized. We have painted wood floors. Everything you need to be modern, to be comfortable..IS modern. We will NOT contact you to RE-RENT. PLEASE...we want you to be happy...remember to book as SOON as possible for the next year to try to make sure nobody else 'takes it'. This HAS been a problem!!! Protect your week(s).

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have a wonderful wood stove insert for additional ambience (though the new heating system is more than sufficient) . We have an outdoor shower (with hot water) to rinse the salt from bathing suits when you're not yet ready to call it a day. We have a garage but it's not for cars. Go look. Washer and dryer are new and conveniently, in the kitchen.
