Step into a world of luxury and leisure at this newly renovated haven, nestled on a private hill with breathtaking views, its very own SWIMMING POOL, and a Hot Tub for those magical evenings under the stars. As you enter, you'll be greeted by the grandeur of two-story view windows that frame the stunning landscape, adorned with rustic wood ceilings and beams, and a cozy fireplace.

Just a short 10-15 minute drive from the shimmering lake, this spacious retreat with lots of parking is your gateway to tranquility. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, there's room for everyone, and the Large Game Room is the heart of fun, equipped with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, and even a no-host bar.

Your outdoor escape is equally enticing, featuring a sprawling deck with ample seating, a sizzling BBQ, and Gas Fire Pits that set the stage for unforgettable summer BBQs with a front-row seat to the beauty of nature and local wildlife. The pool area is perfect for a refreshing dip and sun-soaked relaxation.

The upper floor is your private sanctuary, boasting 3 bedrooms each with their own balcony and 2 full baths. The lower floor is designed for gatherings, complete with a formal dining room, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a cozy nook, a laundry room, an additional bedroom, and a full bath.

This property is set on multiple acres, surrounded by the beauty of the forest.

But book early; returning guests reserve their spots up to 18 months in advance for summer. And for the budget-conscious, winter offers the same magic at lower rates.

If you're thinking about hosting a larger group, inquire about additional homes; we can accommodate up to 170 guests in the town of Lakehead.

Please note, a Rental Agreement and Security Deposit are required, and there's a maximum number of guests of 14 that's strictly enforced.

Dogs are welcome to also enjoy this wonderful home but require that rules are followed and a pet fee is paid. Cats are not allowed at this home.

Amazing house for a little family get together!
This was the perfect house for our family get together! The house is beautiful, perfectly decorated, with a view to die for! Feels secluded yet minutes off the freeway and to the water. It was 100 degrees every day but the house stayed cool and the pool was so refreshing! There was literally something for everyone including the game room with pool, foosball, air hockey and darts, outside has horseshoes, giant chess/checkers, sandbox, giant Jenga, pool, hot tub, decks galore, fire pits, etc, etc. There were a few issues at the house that were quickly and professionally handled. I would 100% recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future! And did I mention the beds are so comfortable!!!

Amazing house, wonderful host, and an incredible trip!
We spent 4 nights in retreat #8 and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The house is absolutely stunning and had everything we could need and more. The views were beyond what we could've hoped for, the beds felt luxurious and we all slept like babes, and everything in the house (appliances, pots & pans, dining ware, floors, bedding, towels, etc.) was very clean. The week we were there in April was a bit cooler, so we didn't utilize the pool, but the hot tub was perfect and the house was incredibly comfortable. We saw deer in front every evening, the game room in the garage was so much fun, and our toddler was enthralled with the sandbox, giant outdoor chess/checkers set, and the kids room-the toys, tv and bunk beds kept him entertained and happy all day. We steamed a couple of movies on the huge tv in the living room on the chillier nights and made smores with one of the fire pits during sunset when it was a tad warmer. We were just a few minutes from both the general store and lake access. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get to and from the house. The binders had a ton of information on things to do in the area and they had manuals for various items in the house so we were able to easily utilize everything we wanted to. The hosts was very helpful and quick to respond to the few questions we had. We would 100% recommend staying with Shasta Lakeshore Retreats and hope ourselves to return in the future. Retreat #8 will hold some amazing memories for us for years to come. Thank you so much!

Great for family reunion
We went for a family reunion. There was plenty of room for all of us, the property details were listed accordingly and accurately. Game room was a blast! Good communication throughout the process. Love the coffee and bar set up in two spaces. Deck was a wonderful space to hang out. Views were amazing!

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 15 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.
