I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. We use a swamp cooler to cool the house. You can turn it down or turn the water portion and will serve as a fan. You also have the option to turn it off if needed. I will make a note of it in the welcome book. Thanks for choosing to stay with us.

I wish things had gone differently. Per our cancellation policy you would have had to cancel within 7 days of the reservation to get a full refund. I was notified that everyone was on their way but got sick hours before check-in. You did not state you wanted to cancel your reservation nor did you cancel it through the app. I reached out numerous times that day and asked VRBO to contact you. They tried twice and stated they left a voicemail. I offered a 50% refund in good faith due to the circumstances but I needed you to properly state you did not want to use the home and cancel your reservation. It was not clear in your communication. I did not hear from you until days after the reservation ended but with guidance from VRBO we needed to ensure you had a place to stay. If you had responded to the multiple attempts for clarity we we could have avoided this issue.
