Charming 2 BR and 2 full bath Cottage is located in Historic Downtown Laurel.

We are on Historical Short 7th Avenue located across from Bird Dog Cafe (featured on HGTV Hometown), and close to numerous specialty shops and restaurants! We are in walking distance to all of downtown Laurel, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art and beautiful historic homes on the avenues! Park, walk, eat and shop without having to search for parking! It is important to us that your stay here is a very memorable one! We do our best to treat our guests with Southern Hospitality! We provide all you’ll need to have a memorable stay. Kitchen is equipped with a full coffee bar, and snacks are provided as well. We are open to special requests for any special occasion- birthdays, anniversaries or just a fun “girls trip”! Just let us know and we’ll make it happen. You’re sure to enjoy your stay!

Great little place!
A fabulous little cottage! Very comfortable and well decorated. The location can't be beat! Its right across the street from the Bird Dog Cafe and very close to downtown Laurel. My husband, daughter and I had a great weekend. and this cottage was a big part of it! We will definitely come back and would highly recommend Mayhaw Place to anyone!

Mayhaw Place is awesome!
Celebrated our 24th anniversary in Laurel. The cottage was perfect and the host were the nicest people you could ever want to meet. Walking distance of everything downtown town and a short drive to everything else. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting in the porch swing every night. Best place to stay in Laurel.

Amazing weekend!!
This was the most adorable house! We felt so much at home celebrating my 33th birthday. The host had a birthday cake and decorations waiting for us when we arrived and it was so thoughtful. The host went above and beyond providing snacks, coffee, and drinks for us to have in the house. The beds were not very comfortable to be honest and the hot water did not last super long. But we felt like family and it made up for it! We will definitely stay again the next time we come to Laurel!

Quaint cottage in Laurel
We had a wonderful stay in this cute cottage. Had great conversations with the owners. All the wonderful touches added to our experience. Very close to all of downtown which os where you want to be. Would highly recommend.

Laurel has been my hometown since the age of 6, and I do love it here! Watching it grow, and seeing people fall in love with it is truly exciting!
Our cozy little cotage was built in 1905, and is adjacent to my husband's hair salon. He has been in the business for 24 years on this quaint little street; it was once called "Mayhaw Place". The Mayhaw Canning Company was located here in the historical warehouse district. There's so much history in our hometown! We can't wait to share it with you! It is our ultimate goal for you to walk through our doors and have the most "welcoming" experience, and leave wanting to come back!

Location Location Location- plus we strive to keep this unit as clean as we possibly can. It's convenient to eating establishments, the mall and numerous other local shops. It has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, and you'll also enjoy the porch swing and adirondak chairs provided!
