It checked all the boxes for us, new kitchen, cozy living space, great outdoor commercial fire pit in a private courtyard, convenience to downtown, and the our host ( Denee ) was great!

A short walk into town.

Lovely vacation spot. We loved being able to walk to town, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful Carmel beach.

What a beautiful property. It was actually better that the pictures depicted. The location was perfect for us. Close to everything. So convenient to get downtown, to Highway one and only a few minutes to the beach. The cottage was so comfortable. The beds and linens were heaven! The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance or utensils needed. The living are is super comfy. Denee, the host, is so great to work with and very responsive. We would highly recommend this Carmel cottage.

Absolutely beautiful home in Carmel-by-the-Sea!

We have stayed in many monthly rental properties in Carmel, and Beach Blanket Bungalow is our favorite! First of all, they did an amazing job on the recent renovation, and the entire house is just stunning. They also converted the garage into a second living space with an office, which is really nice, and the outdoor fire pit on the patio is commercial grade and totally awesome. Not to mention how pretty the landscaping is! We really enjoyed the location, as it's a quick walk or drive into town, and you can get on the coast highway super quick too. Lastly, the hosts are really nice people and did a great job taking care of us. We sure hope to go back!

Perfect location, fantastic host, idyllic setting

Beach Blanket Bungalow is in a serene neighborhood that made it perfect for us. We walked into town (10 mins max) and down to the ocean (20 mins max) almost every day. Also, the Bungalow is very close by car to the airport, major shopping centers, fitness centers, several wineries, and other attractions. Our host, Denee Berliner was so fantastic – from the first contact we had with her, and throughout our stay, whenever we contacted Denee for any reason, she responded immediately and was hugely helpful and incredibly gracious. The Bungalow itself is charming and cozy, graced by a treelined and flower-filled front-yard with a glorious sitting area. Plus the home had a fully equipped detached office that enabled my husband to work and hold meetings privately, while I could do the same at an ample table in the house itself.

Sweet Cottage in Carmel

This cozy cottage was great for my family of 4 (two adults and two toddlers). We could walk to town and hike back up the hill to the house. It was a nice workout pushing a double stroller. We walked to the nearby playground almost everyday. The cottage is clean, neat, and has all necessities for a month long stay. Denee is great to communicate with and she accommodated our family wonderfully. I would book this house again, but I would have our friends who came to visit book another place for a weekend. It is too small to accommodate guests. Perfect for 1 family.

Awesome Stay!

Our family of four had a great time at the Beach Blanket Bungalow! Perfect location, walking distance to downtown Carmel and the beach. Easy check in, comfortable beds, clean home. Denee, the host, was nice, attentive, and responsive to questions. Overall, an awesome stay! Our kids loved the area and our stay in this cute house too!
