You will feel an overwhelmingly welcome feeling when entering this 2-bedroom plus the large loft/bunk area that sleeps up to 8 guests. This home offers 2 bathrooms. The large vaulted entry will make you feel right at home. The living space offers a comfortable family room with the kitchen and dining nearby offering an open cozy floorplan. The fully stocked kitchen, island, and dining table are perfect for cooking, playing games, and enjoying family and friends. Just outside the door, you can enjoy beautiful canal views from any of the upper or lower decks. Enjoy grilling on the provided charcoal grill. There are two wonderful dining areas outside. One that has cushioned seating for 6 on the main level. We also have a picnic table for dining on the ground level. In the evening, you can enjoy the large fishing dock while casting a line. If you are lucky you can get your fresh catch of the day while enjoying it cooked on the charcoal grill in the evening. This magical getaway is a short drive to the beach or community pool (additional fee from pool mgt. company). There is a boat ramp in the community (permit required). There is a boat slip available as well. Please be sure to request a boat permit ($20 fee for launching from Jamaica Beach/permit required). The large bedroom on the main level has a king-size bed. The second bedroom is upstairs with a queen bed and shares the bathroom with the bunk loft area, which sleeps 4 additional guests comfortably in the 2 new queen beds.

This home is in the sought-after community of Jamaica Beach. In addition to the swimming pool and boat dock, this quiet community also offers nearby restaurants, coffee shops, liquor store, and more. It is the perfect location for a family to swim, fish, enjoy beach time, and unwind. We are a short drive to the community pool, playground, and beach. You can park your vehicle at the beach and set up your beach equipment nearby for the day.

The city of Galveston is about 20 minutes away. The historic Strand is another wonderful place to shop for souvenirs, boutique shopping, enjoy LaKings ice cream, or one of the great restaurants. In addition to the beach, and historic locations to visit, Galveston has Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and the Pleasure Pier. You will definitely want to stay the extra day to get it all in.
